Try goat milk. I just started using it. I guess it's supposed to really help with allergies and issues like this (ear ect. ) But they sat it's liquid gold

There are a lot of different formulations of Farmina dry dog food, perhaps you could include a link to the one you are using?

3rd ingredient is pork meal and 5th is starch. I like to take it further and look at first 5 ingredients. Besides that it’s better than a lot of of kibbles out there. but, If you’re not on a budget for kibble I would try Orejin or a&D

@@ziostregoneria6178 a LOT of experts would like to disagree. Kibble is nutritionally complete, it will sustain a dog. That being said, a lot of kibbles are full of fillers and aren't tje best. But a good kibble with high meat content expecially when hydrated and enhanced with fresh meat etc is great.

Trust me, I know and have made many videos explaining all that you've mentioned actually, but the reality is, there are owners out there that simply can't feed anything else. Instead of them walking around a pet store or online with a blindfold, I want to give them advice on what to look for to find a better option and a lesser evil. I want to tap into all areas of the pet food industry to slowly lure everyone to raw. That starts with the people who feel they can only feed kibble.

@@PawsofPrey The problem with this video is you are not talking about the wet food options along side the dry options. You need to make a "Feed this, not That' video, which explains and shows that any form of canned cat food is better than dry food. There are cheap canned options out there. If a person cannot afford to feed an animal the right way, then they shouldn't have said animal. This video is telling them its OK to not feed a cat what it needs to live a healthy life. This is going to make the cat have vet bills in the future, which will outweigh the cheapness of dry food, and may even cause it's death from a blockage. I'm pretty sure it's owner would rather feed canned than have that scenario happen.

@@xeyladeath Oh please, her entire channel advocate raw diet, and at the minimum wet food. As pet owners you also need to take into consideration that people have budget or lifestyle constraints that they need time to transition their pets to wet food or raw diet. During this transitional phase, at least they can feed their pets with the 'better' kibbles.

While I can agree with you, I want to give every owner an option to do better in any circumstance they're in. Not everyone can feed raw as much as I wish they could, and there are kibble brands out there that are of higher quality than others, as I show in the video.

Why don't you go eat cereal everyday multiple times a day for the rest of your life. & If people can't afford to feed raw they shouldn't have a dog or a cat. They should consider another animal with different dietary needs. You should never get a animal you can't afford to feed. If you aren't feeding raw meat and bones you're abusing your animal. About 60 years ago everyone was feeding raw meat to dogs and before that. For thousands of years people knew better they knew dogs were carnivores and to feed it food. Now we live in a different world where feeding it pellets isn't looked down upon.

@@taylorlove9602 I totally agree with your concerns towards kibbles. I feed my cats homemade raw, but learning about the variance in quality among kibbles helped me towards my final decision on feeding raw. Not all owners can be persuaded into raw so quickly, and it’s better to inform these owners (like me back then) simple and gradual ways to improve their cat’s diet, like choosing kibbles with top 5 ingredients being meat and organs, add goats milk, broth, or even just water to kibbles can significantly help with dehydration too. Of course it’s ideal to feed raw, but in the case where that’s not feasible (immune compromised, cats who need to eat little amounts throughout the day and owners need to go to work, or owners who want to provide better options to cats but just still hesitant in raw), it’s better if owners can learn about ways to make kibble healthier than just leave them with low quality kibbles. There are kibbles out there that have no grains and mostly animal meat and organs. I think if they’re fed with water, then those aren’t that bad.

I have no idea why feeding a species appropriate diet makes people hesitant. Like I said they are brainwashed. It's really sad how many animals suffer due to people's lack of knowledge. A species appropriate diet for worms would be dirt, for snakes it would be rodents, for dogs it would be raw meat & bones. It's pretty simple. You claim choosing a kibble with top ingredients like meat but go look at the kibble. The ingredient says it has chicken in it but look at the kibble. Do you see any chicken ? How did it go from chicken to a small sized pellet? This is because it's highly processed with heat multiple times cooking the hell out of it. The ingredients are DEAD. It's not chicken anymore but a small pellet. Majority of the ingredients in kibble don't matter anymore since Majority of them are lost due to the high heating process. It's not food. Adding water to kibble doesn't help with dehydration it actually makes it worse. It causes bloat as well and sits in the stomach way to long. Kibble soaks up water from the organs in the body. No matter how much water dogs drink they are constantly in a state of dehydration when eating kibble because kibble robs the body of moisture. Dogs don't have the enzymes to Digest dog cereal once again. It's hard on their system. & As far as immune compromised dogs and cats not being able to eat raw this is a myth. A raw diet is the best thing for them if they're sick. They're sick because they've been consuming junk foods that cause a weak immune system. Feed them foods the body was designed to eat & you will see improvements within a week. Their immune system will be alot stronger. Food is medicine. It's like saying a human can't consume something healthy like a Kale salad because they're to sick from eating McDonald's everyday. Wake up. Majority of things about raw diets are myths because the industry doesn't want you to feed raw. They'd lose billions of dollars every year
