A lot of people trash us (rampart mains) but the truth is, if you master her and learn how to use her kit to the best of her ability, she can turn fights completely around and help you win more fights, and games. She's a hard legend to get the hang of, but in the end it's worth it.

I just started using her and have been trying to get good with her had a couple of coke quarters fights in a building where I was able to put her shields up and absolutely poop on the other team but I’m trying to get good with her

@@juangarza8700 some tips that are good- don't always use your walls for defense, and don't always focus on playing defensively. If you're in a tight spot and you need to shield up, you can double layer your walls, so if the one in front gets destroyed you have the one behind which is not going to get destroyed, and if the one in the front doesn't get destroyed you can just take back the one in back for no penalty. If you don't need to med up, and your teammates do and youre in a building, set up some walls and if you have sheila, you can whip her out and just wind her up and keep it there making them scared to come in and allow your teammates to have some time to heal. :)

My only critique of this video is Rampart being classified as a defensive legend. Her kit is designed for offense. Shes an defensively offense based legend

I really appreciate this, even though I’ve already found my main(s). Based on this, my play style is a mix of Defensive and Warrior, leaning more towards Defensive, because my three best legends are Rampart, Caustic, and Mad Maggie. Wattson and Ash aren’t too far behind, though.

I really love Crypto and Revenant's designs although my playstyle fits with Bangalore, Ash, and Valkyrie the most. Combat-oriented legends that also have tools to reposition. Also, I'm waiting for Crypto and Revenant to be reworked. Crypto should absolutely be more fast-paced, being able to move his drone like Vantage's Echo and get an actual passive that isn't for the drone. Meanwhile, Revenant should get his ultimate reworked and his tactical silenced. It's pretty stupid for a stealthy assassin to have an ultimate and tactical that are loud as fuck.

Crypto got a buff at the end of s12, so I doubt he will get changed any time soon. Although moving the drone remotely would be fantastic I agree with rev, with his pick rate, I'd say they will look at it soon

The devs also said they're going to do something about Revenant, meanwhile, another dev said that they would most likely not fix/update/buff a legend if their heirloom has already been released or at least if they wouldn't make a profit out of it... Which makes no sense because reworking and updating a negatively broken legend would make people play more and probably support the game and the devs more by buying cosmetics for being great devs.

This video was very enlightening to me. I feel like I'm viewing the legends from a totally new angle. You made me realize that I always take the role of team leader no matter what legend I'm playing. I really enjoy playmaking and being the one to decide what happens next, like rotating, moving in from a certain angle, and retreating. Aggressive but tactical about it is my favorite way to play. My mains are Loba, Wraith, and Crypto, and I play both Loba and Crypto as team leaders as well. Super helpful and informative video!

Another great video thank you. Just recently went to caustic main and I feel like he gives me the chance to do a little bit of everything. Support by dropping gas traps or alt to keep enemies away while healing/res and offensive with his gas alt getting teams traps and push them and of course being defensive and holding down spots with his traps

I have a large rotation of legends, but I remember when I first played Apex I was blood hound for the longest time, to the point where I got so good at using him and his skills that my friends always ask me to be blood hound or any recon class which pushed me into crypto once he came out and for some reason I was better with crypto I got my drone out marked the enemy then used his ult on them before we engaged. The team play we used was a combination of Octan and wrath's ability to get everyone in all at once then it changed to octane and Valkyrie as Valkyrie gave us more visual of the battle along with an escape if things got too out of control, and octane just rushes in taking out the first enemy before they notice what's going on.

When I started playing the game back in season 0 I started with Bloodhound but as soon as I saw Mirage I knew he was peefect for me. I'm almost at 5k kills with him and, in proper hands, his ultimate shreds a whole squad before they realize which Mirage is the real one

Got most kills on Wattson, but I noticed my playstyle got more aggressive as I got more comfortable. Haven’t played Rampart in 7 months so I played her, first game I dropped 11 kills with 14 knocks. Definitely found my blend of defense and offense!

I’ve been playing Fuse in ranked a lot lately and surprisingly have been doing really well in Gold 1-2. Carry around enough grenades and when an enemy team rushes at you, drop ultimate on them and then every single explosive in existence. It’s not very tactical and can backfire, but it disorientates and overwhelms the enemy to such a point that while they try to dodge one grenade, another blows up their feet.

I main Loba and Wraith. Wraith is amazing for 1 on 1 fights, especially with a Wingman and the small hit box, movement and her portal. Loba has imo the best escape ability, plus her support perk, which makes her so viable.

Maggie, caustic, or vantage. Maggie’s nice for shotguns, as I love the new Eva. Caustic is great for ratting (my favorite). You can actually get master with no kills by getting consistent top 3s. Vantages passive is just beautiful too. It’s like binoculars

Revenant is my Arenas main. Creeping while crouched has won so many matches. Bangalore for pubs and ranked just because that increased movement speed on passive is legit.

I play with a squad in ranked. They main Newcastle and vantage. I tried playing various legends but I found loba works best for me with this squad because her tactical allows me to keep up with their movement so we can flank or escape as a team.

I used to play Mirage and Valk, but lately I've been mostly playing as Fuse, Ash and Crypto. I use Horizon and Newcastle too from time to time, but the aforementioned 3 are the ones I play most of. I guess I'm a "Tactical Warrior..."

I hop around mains depending on how I want to play. If I'm map crawling looking for kills, Fuse or Valk. If I want to engage from a distance and poke, Vantage. If I'm with a hot drop squad, Octane or Maggie. It helps having groups of friends and knowing how they like to play, and adapt around that.

I mained Octane for at least 5 seasons when season 1 started. Him being a Hispanic legend and having the perfect type of play style I like (in your face and fast with faster movement for rotations and getting into/out of fights). I learned how to kinda recon and be a first fragger at the same time. I took a long break from the game and I came back about a season after Seer came out so I started using him often but still kinda play him like I did Octane. I lost the movement, but now I feel like I kinda fit into this role that's secondary fragger that can give all the information I need to my team but I no longer have to rely on only coms to do so.

Played season 0-10 as mostly bang but got to 1000 kills with lifeline, wraith, and revenant. I got 1000 with Valk and am currently working on 1000 with caustic. For pubs I play what I find fun. For ranked I'll play whatever meta legend (currently Valk or caustic) that the team is missing

I used to be a gibby main but i always hated how fast his shield went away and how he was just stuck in place when he used it but since newcastle came out ive been crushing lobbies with him hes like gibby but just better imo his ult is a permanent cover for your team when you need it late game which is insanely op plus its free movement if you need it and his tactical lasts quite awhile and recharges really fast and his passive is crazy if you have a gold knockdown

Currently im learning Bloodhound but when I get Seer, i may be a seer main? Honestly im only 80 hours in, used to be a loba main (hell i may learn her jumpdrive timing just so I can fill), I cant really get used to anyone elses kit in any lobby, and with Ballistics release I think hell be my assault main? See my problem is is I want someone who can support the team but also be an igl roles and I just don’t know who to pick. I have mained just about all of the good legends. Valk, bang, wraith, path, NC, ash, horizon, etc. I can play almost anyone but I just don’t know who fits into what I want. Or maybe I’m asking too much from one legend? I want someone who can be supportive too the team, but also be able to have some movement and igl characteristics I keep thinking bang but idk

I started at the beginning of season 13. I've watched this, and the previous version, and other vids and I simply cannot stick to a main. I've played the vast majority of the legends at this point quite a bit. Sometimes I get jealous of those players who can stick to 1 or 2 choices but oh well.

After the big nerf to Pathfinder in Season 5, I was lost on who to use. I was lost until I looked at the crackhead with robotic legs and a rich dad, Octane. Once I played him, I started to love his personality and his kit. I became my friends’ and teammates’ worst loot goblin 😅

I have a main and 2 “back up mains” if mine gets picked my main ash and the other 2 are wraith and Valkyrie

Havent been able to main anyone it really just depends on the mood for fast paced, slower style. All my kills are about even across almost all of them
