14 years ago I was working in video game company and we needed a gun placeholder sound for a cartoon game, so I did "piu piu" sound myself on office microphone. to this day this is my only gig in game audio, but I think it is because I am too specialized in doing only "piu piu"

Uh I like the new aesthetic. Longtime fan of the podcast here. Your advice has been helping me a lot. I guess my niche is composing with and for electric guitar, bass and synth.

It's great to hear that at the beginning of my journey. I really want to narrow down my creativity to a couple of niches which I already feel more inclined to like horror and dark Fantasy aesthetics or specific genres in games. I wonder if people would recognize me for those since how I present myself haha I don't look metal at all

Hey I love the channel! I'm an electronic musician trying to get into sounddesign, does anyone have any advice? Where can i get in contact with people who might want to hire me? I'm good at making sounds, but what more do I need to know to become a sound designer? Any advice is much appreciated

Also thanks for your advice. I've been fighting myself with the thoughts that I need to learn orchestral music and other genres I find difficult to get my attention. I'm currently taking the Interactive Scoring for video games at Berklee. The teacher just shared your links and just encountered your RU-vid. Great videos!
