I need to write down how long it takes to make projects because I have Fibromyalgia and I'm extremely SLOOOOWWW! LOL!! I need to really start writing down every time I crochet a project so I can time myself so I can estimate due dates!! I love this! Thanks so much!!
Yes! Timing yourself is key for sure. Do you use ergonomic hooks? Highly recommend both Clover Amour and Tulip. I’ll be creating a video soonish on how to time yourself making a project 😊
@@SigoniMacaroni I never thought about timing myself before watching this video but if I want to start planning my projects better I need to do that most definitely! I had the ergonomic hooks but they hurt my hand something terrible! I switched to Leither Co handmade wooden hooks because they are longer and the end of the handle doesn't hit my palm and they are awesome. Over Black Friday I also ordered some Furls Streamline Resin hooks because I had heard they help with hand fatigue and have been using those since they arrived shortly after and OMG what a difference! They are also longer like my Leither Co hooks. They are both a huge investment but it's better then cramping and sore hands!! I use both Leither Co and my Furls hooks and it's made a world of difference, My hands don't cramp and aren't sore anymore. I gave all of my ergonomics hooks to my daughter-in-law since she started to crochet this year LOL!! Thanks for the help!!
Oh awesome! Good to know! I just went back into it to see if I had purchased it, but it was the original one. thanks for letting me know :) Have a great weekend!
Love this! Definitely going to try planning my projects this way, since my goal this year is to make more projects as gifts and/or to donate to charity.
This is awesome! Surprise to me!…I already have 12 projects in mind! (Reminder to self: remember to leave time for holiday surprises from Sigoni. Lol) Bigger surprise to me…the math says I have 42 hours a week available for crochet!!!! 😮
I love this! I have a couple of "big" projects I want to do this year so this planner will be an excellent help on figuring out how much time something might take. My big question is though, how do you manage to spend a solid hour here and there throughout the day crocheting? My almost 2-year old won't leave me alone for longer than 10 minutes yet...
Hahaha well my 2 year old has a 7 year old brother so they play together a lot. I’m grateful for that! 😂 But I definitely don’t crochet for 2 hours straight, it’s more like 30 minutes intervals throughout the day 😅
@@SigoniMacaroni 30 minutes is still more than what I get :) my almost 2 year old has a 4 year old sister, so they do play together but it tends to get too rowdy and scream-y often :).
You said that you had updated the Hooked on Planning: The Ultimate Crochet Project Planner book? I purchased it inside of your Learn to Crochet Class so will it automatically get updated there or will I have to repurchase it again? Thanks
Oh no absolutely not, you will get the update for free! I haven’t had the chance to upload it into the class yet but I will do that as soon as I get the chance ❤️
This is amazing! Thanks so much! New subscriber here! ** Remember folks, watching ads is like tipping your RU-vid creators and teachers. It costs you nothing more than a moment of your time and they get paid.
I have recently just taken up crochet. My problem is I can’t decide what to do first. I watch videos etc.. I start one and then I think it looks crappy & frog it. 🙄🙄
Have you taken my Masterclass? It’s free here on RU-vid and includes two beginner friendly patterns. I highly recommend starting there 😊 you can find the full playlist here: 14 Day Learn To Crochet MASTERCLASS ru-vid.com/group/PLmobLoMZ1riTNFsxCena7K93Zsls6F2CF
