The first video in a new series we will be working on called "Wandering The Wards." It will focus on understanding the smaller things that are critical to functioning as a healthcare provider all throughout the hospital. This may be in the emergency department, medical wards, surgical floors, intensive care units, and more! This video is going to be a quick video explaining fishbone diagrams. If you happen to glance at a healthcare provider's patient list, you may notice lab values documented in a certain format. For someone who didn't know better, it may be almost indecipherable. There is a method to this madness though that is fairly universally accepted. I use it dozens of times every day while at work. We will explain these fishbone diagrams, what they depict, and how to put them together yourself! This video will be great for anyone in training and those nurses, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, medical students, EMTs, resident physicians, and more looking for a refresher!
