Thank you so much, my recliner couch had broken recliners on both sides, ordered 2 cheap $3 new plastic pieces off Temu and fixed both sides thanks to your video! I will say my cables were A LOT tighter and shorter then yours (by several inches it seemed) which made it a bit harder, but it all still worked just like you laid out and both recliner sides work now thank you!
Great help had exactly same problem this week in the UK and your video saved us over £100 !!. Bought 2 pack of levers online £7 and my very un DIY husband has just fixed our recliner sofa. Thank you so much for posting 🙂 xx
This was perfect, thank you, this looks exactly like our brand new chair that came with that piece broken and we could not put the foot rest up. Now to go and fix it instead of waiting to see what the furniture company will do about it.
This is the exact thing that happened to ours today, on an 8 month old recliner. I knew the little plastic lever was no match for the hard pull needed for the foot rest to come out. Where did you order the new part from? Can we replace it with something more hardy?
My recliner issue is nothing is broken but the wire keeps falling out of the hole it fits into on the handle so nothing broken but the wire seems too long?? I’m not sure I can;t find anything about the wire falling out of the handle.

oopsi. I clicked the link & bought...,..link is wrong size part...so if new folks do that too, scroll down to customers also viewed,,to the KUANUOO 3 X 3.5....I spose I coulda double checked that before I hit add to cart...oopsie
You failed in this video to mention to let the bottom of the recliner out, to have enough slack in the cable, enough to replace the lever. You need to tell people that before they get frustrated.
