We received this in the mail today! The packaging was fine, no damage during shipping thank goodness! The construction was very simple ru-vid.comUgkxXH3jIpsn6vpr3D26KWAriUejh7CSxVp7 , the bottom rocking part and the ottoman were already put together for us which is nice!As for the actual quality, the wood seems fine.. Not too cheap but maybe not the quality you would find in a store for 400$. However, it is still sturdy and feels secure. I've only had it for one night, so of course no squeaking yet.. But if it does squeak it could be easily oiled. The cushions are comfy, and made of a suede like material. Obviously with time these cushions will probably wear and tear.. But for the price of the chair it is still worth it just to go out and buy new cushions that fit in the future.Overall I am very satisfied, I was a little worried after reading some reviews and looking through the photos, but I'm happy I bought it! Obviously it's not a heavy-duty chair, but with care I'm hoping it will last a while.

@Fiery154
@Fiery154 Год назад
You can throw it away. You don’t really need it. If you REALLY want one, you can go buy some non-woven interfacing from the fabric store and just staple it on with a staple gun. Regular fabric (in any color you want) is also an option, but go for the cheap stuff. No one is looking under your couch.

So... I have a Victorian-era sofa... I've redyed the material as I cannot reupholster such a complicated piece...painted the wood (I know, I know...), but now it's sagging so much I cannot sit on it as ...stuff is coming out of the bottom and I fear falling straight through. Will this work just the same? I've already put wood underneath and it came out.

I was happy to see that it's OK to attach the clip in a slightly different spot as there is no way I could get to the same spot as the existing clip. You can replace those springs with twine. The point of them is so that the springs act as a unit, keeping them from moving side to side. I always tie them with twine. The springs are factory (quick cheap and easy) not custom.
