Your work is flawless. Can you tell me what hand tools you were using, the type of batting (is it made especially for upholstery work), and the type of railing on the back of the chair? Thank you and you have inspired me to get started on a job I have been putting off for years (due to cowardice). Lol!

I really love your videos and appreciate your sense of humor. (e.g., "Husbands come and go but shears are forever.") I recently retired from my last job and have been looking for something gratifying to do to keep busy and for profit. Can you really make money doing this? I mean, our society has become a "throw away" society for just about everything. I did see your video on the quality of the furniture of the past. Have you done a video on the business aspect of reupholstering furniture? It looks like you have a large investment in materials. Thanks for your excellent videos.

Thank you, I’m glad you are enjoying the videos. If you’re serious about continuing, check out my teaching website www.upholstery.life for better and more thorough project videos. Yes, money can be made in upholstery if you are good at it and get to a point of being speedy as well. It takes time and patience to get there.

Definitely use at least 1 screw with the nails. It'll give that extra security that it won't happen again.

Hi, do you have a tutorial for dining chairs which were originally covered in 'seagrass' but as that has deteriorated, I would like to use material to recover. Only snag, the seat pad has cut outs for the front chair legs, how do I get material into such a space?
