Hi there, this is not something we have tested for, however there is no reason the brand couldn't be treated the same as any other damage. It should be able to be sanded and filled, then recoloured with the paint.
Hi, unfortunately this couldn't be used on suede. It is designed to replicate the look and feel of leather so wouldn't be the best product for the job.
I know this video was a while ago🤦♀️but feel like you might have my answer. My leather didn’t burn through, it only discolored . It’s tan and now has a small brown spot about the size of a eraser on a pencil. What would be your professional suggestion? Thanks for your time ✌️💕
Hi, to repair the small area you will be best to use our Complete Leather Repair Kit, www.furnitureclinic.co.uk/leather-repair-kit. You are welcome to contact us directly for any more help or advice
rocklobster112 Hi. Yes, this kit will repair any hole regardless of the cause. It is important to ensure any residual chemicals have been removed as they may prevent the filler from adhering.
George Adams Hi, thanks for getting in touch. The products used in this video are available to purchase from our UK or USA sites, just google Furniture Clinic and you will find our .com (For USA & North America) and the .co.uk (for everywhere else). They are located under 'Dyes and Restoration', in the Leather section of our website. In this instance you would be looking for the Leather Repair Kit and the Leather Touch Up Kit. Hope this helps, Kind Regards, The Customer Care Team, Furniture Clinic Limited.
Hi, Unfortunately suede is not something we have developed a process to repair at present, we are looking into it, but due to the nature of suede (in particular the fibres, or 'nap') blending the repair with the surrounding area can be problematic. Sorry we could not be of more help on this one! Kind regards, The Customer Care Team Furniture Clinic.
+Glen Reid Hi, all of the products shown can be purchased from www.furnitureclinic.co.uk or www.furnitureclinic.com (for customers in the USA or Canada). You should find everything you need in terms of products and guidance, if not, there are contact details provided on both sites for our expert advisors who can aid you further. If you need anything else, just let us know! Kind Regards. The Customer Care Team, Furniture Clinic.
Hi myrtho charles, if you look closely towards the end of the video, at the close up, you will see that there is a lack of grain pattern in the area that has been repaired compared to the surrounding area for precisely this reason. To keep the repair process as simple as possible for DIY'ers while still demonstrating a good quality repair, and as the damaged area was relatively small, we chose not to use grain repair products in this instance. Replacing the grain, should you wish to do so, can be done with a grain pad as you say, or manually with a product like our Grain Repair, depending on your level of expertise and/or confidence. Hope this helps, Thanks, The Customer Care Team Furniture Clinic Limited.
