Hi there mate, I’m having a very strange issue. My issue consists of the game audio and visual working but then a certain point in the game. The commands become unresponsive. The audio and visuals are still playing but the touch screen also makes noises when I touch it but it just won’t progress any further. I did this for a couple saved files to ensure it was the case. May I please have some support as nobody else has this same set up
That's probably a bug in the emulator, (switch version of the emulator, as most game are emulated perfectly with melonDS on PC) you can try using a different version of it. I was using the "MelonDS gotta go fast" version. You could try the normal one, Or just play a different game. To be honest, I'm not that experienced in console hacking. Sure, I could mod one in about 30m but thats with help from the internet. I've modded a Wii, Wii U, vWii (wii inside the wii u), and most importantly the Nintendo Switch. Asking an expert on these topics or the creators of the emulators will give you a lot more help than I can. If you know C, you CAN dig around the files of the emulator, as they are open source and maybe tweak some things and maybe it will fix it. Best of luck, volkanboydak3475.
When you click on your album, you are in applet mode. Applet mode has less ram and more constraints. However, By holding down ( R ) while booting up either an eShop game or a Physical cartridge, You can access all the RAM with little to no constraints. melonDS EXPECTS that you have more RAM than what you get with applet more, THAT is why it crashes. If holding the ( R ) button doesn't work, That might be because you are on an older exploit. I was using the RCM exploit, Hekate for my launcher, And atmosphere for my firmware.
