Here is what to look at if your lift arms just will not drop, and they raise on there own when the tractor is running.

Excellent description of the different pump settings associated with the snap coupler situation. Different pump but I see a lot of similarities with the CA hydraulic lift arm settings.

Thankyou Robert! Just a prime example of Allis always being ahead of their time especially on the ca snap couple system. Honestly a brilliant and reliable design. Thanks for watching Robert!

That sure is a sweet running d17. Thanks for the hydraulic tutorial, good information to have. Hope things are going good for you this spring. Take care Tim!

Thankyou Evan? So far this spring has been going oddly well 🤔.. (as I'm over here literally knocking on wood, hoping I didn't just jynx myself).. 😅. This is going to make some one a good tractor. Thanks for watching Evan!

Hey Tim it very educational it’s something that I never did when we were still on the farm

It's one of those things that if you use them they will never freeze up, and the system is super reliable, so alot of the guys that ran these tractors have no idea about the traction booster system, rightfully so, they never had to deal with it lol.

No it's still an Allis engine. The later ones were made in France the 301 in my brothers 7020 is a France block. So is the 433 in my 6080.

What do ya think I ought do where someone took the linkage off my series four but my lift arm still can go down just lift when you start the tractor
@TimothyFluegel
@TimothyFluegel Год назад
Go to the 1:50 mark in this video. It's your plunger there not moving. Take it apart with 2 Allen screws and make it move. You'll have no more problems lol.

Would it be a plunger problem if your lift arms raise but you can push them down by hand? It's on my 65 series iv diesel with factory 3 point
@TimothyFluegel
@TimothyFluegel Год назад
I'd say the plunger for the traction booster isn't disengaging quite all the way. Just pull the Allens out of the far right spool and get it moving properly and make sure all the linkage is free

What will you ask for it when you put it up for sale? Is it wide or narrow front end?
@TimothyFluegel
@TimothyFluegel Год назад
It's a wide front, the engine is out of a Gleaner combine, 4 ⅛ in craters. It's a peppy 17 like my puller. I'm asking 4000 for it once I get decent fenders on it. It will still need a seat and the side tins under the tank for that price.
