How to remove a dent from a kayak.... a BIG dent. I attempted to do the impossible. Was happy that I got it about 95% of the way back. This may have been the toughest one to deal with so far considering it was along the thickest part along the bottom. There is no way this would have popped out without the air compressor and a heat gun.

Should have done boiling water and a suction up, I think might have worked as well

Hey you are right and I am with you! I had two suction cups already and tried it before filming this but the problem was that the bend in that dent was so extreme that there was no spot flat enough to make the suction cup stick.

Fish Finder my body worked on body shop and that's how they used to fix Saturn cars, but ur way worked well

Did you have to build much pressure up? That kayak looks like it has no hatches to leak pressure

yeah it was more air tight than a kayak with hatches. No way I could have done that with the pro angler. I did have to build the pressure up because that dent was pushed so far in and right on that reinforced keel area with thicker plastic. In fact, when I was pumping air the whole kayak was blowing up and I was worried it would pop!

Twisted the nose on my brand new Joyride 12.0 after owning it for one day. Couldn't be more angry! I tried the "sun" method for two weeks and nothing happened. Tried boiling water and nothing happened. Tried using a heat gun...made half of it better, half of it drastically worse. So mad at myself and the world of Kayaking. What a terrible $1000 investment on my part. New kayakers...don't even bother buying a kayak. I got 1 use out of mine, which makes it the equivalent of renting a Kayak for 1 day for $1000.

We've had same exact thing happen today. Just got in our long awaited Two $2000 tandem Kayaks with peddle options and took them out for the first time today. Was having the tube of our lives then I noticed a huge dent on the back end of the one my husband was on with the grandchild. He was never hit and we have NO IDEA🤦🏼‍♀️ how it happened🤷🏼‍♀️😭. Hoping and praying we are able to remove it using heat and pressure 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
