Wow, this is probably the fastest how-to-fix-it videos on the tube.... I think this 'twisting' seems to happen when someone tries to turn the slats when the blind is fully open?
I’ve had one of those hooks snap off and I’m unsure how to fix it. Do you have a video on this on how to replace the actual hook once snapped off? Or any suggestions on where to buy replacement hooks?
It depends on the problem . I'm assuming it is a vertical blind , the first thing to try is to reverse the slats , we have a video for this one on our channel . If this does not work , check the direction of the hooks on the carriers , occasionally one of these can be facing the wrong way . If you have a carrier hook that is the wrong way , carefully turn it with a pair of plyers , be gentle as these can break . The carrier will click once or twice . Once you have heard the click try and turn the the blind the normal way using he controls at the end . If they do move, turn them all the way around until they click and then turn them all the way back untill they click again .
