I love you. And not afraid to say it. Found that little fence-like gear laying on the floor of my apartment. My sliding window looks directly into my bathroom and the whole week I have been having to make sure to not flash my neighbors. This project is getting done right now. Thank you.
Awesome video. Thank you! So clear and well explained. We would get charged lots of $ any time we needed to get the blinds fixed. The company went out of business and I decided to take on the challenge and do it myself. I'm so happy to be able to fix them for under $10! Thank you!
Good video. Had to go through a bunch to find one with good audio and camera work showing the gear comb and stem up close and in action. I understand it now. Thanks.
Thank You very much. The gear fell out of one of my vertical blinds and it’s been driving me nuts not knowing where to put it back in. These instructions couldn’t have been any simpler.
Excelente video!!! Muy bien explicado!! Mi ingles es muy malo🤣, pero tu explicacion es excelente!!! Muchas gracias !!!! Good job men!! 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
One thing to mention is that you don't need to make sure the part is perfectly centered when you place it in with the screwdriver. If you click the stem in after and then twist the turning rod back and forth a couple times it'll eventually become centered like the rest of them.
I just moved into an apartment complex last month and I had three different problems with my vertical blinds and this was one of them. maintenance came out the day I moved in and said they fixed all three but they did not.
Great video 👍 Aside from my cheap slumlord. I can't understand why ANYONE would buy these blinds. They are 100% guaranteed to break. Not to mention, completely hideous.
What is it, when your Vertical blinds click when you try and change the direction of the blinds. They make a loud clicking sound? And they will not turn in the opposite direction.
Does anyone know how to keep the long stick that you twist to open the blinds from falling. Sometimes it falls when i close or open them and its annoying to be putting it back too often.
Wish mine did that, my hook or blind holder is not open on one end, meaning you can't just pop it out. Or so far I haven't figured out how it snaps out. You can't get to it from above. Guess I'll keep looking, there's bound to be one like mine I can look at on youtube.
Can you tell me where to order those particular slats at? I am recently divorced & very technically challenged. I measured them & I got 9 feet tall & 9 inches thick but I can’t find any slats that size but yours look about right lol. Thank you!🙏🏽😁
i couldnt figure it out.. My blinds are made differently because there is no way to pull that other piece out without breaking the slat. I bought these trash blinds from home depot and within a month they were all broken and out of place and wouldnt twist back properly. Didnt really help but i guess the video was okay for those who have these types of blinds or whatever.
