simple little (in depth) explanation and tutorial on how to clean a tape deck that chews tapes on one or both sides of the auto reverse function. this was done on my gen 1 ETR symphony sound unit out of my oldsmobile 98 regency.
unfortunately there's no fixing the tape that was damaged because of this, but I am happy to report that it hasn't chewed any more tapes after doing this
