I have this issue with my 2007 Ford focus and the light sometimes would be on, sometimes off. I had a mini crash into a curb one day, and it hasn’t gone away since, I think this should help me figure it out and get it looked at!

Gotta love automobile companies that put sensitive electronics where everyone spills their coffee and other soft drinks. What would have been interesting to see is whether reseating the terminals would have solved the issue. By reseating I mean many times to clean anything that might obstruct the contacts of both terminal surfaces. This connector should be of weather pack design and does not look to be. Did you look for any signs of a prior crash?

I see it has been a year now. Did your light come back on after time has past? Did you get any codes? I'm asking because I have the same year car as yours with the same problem.
@@slicemadice got mine back from Safty Restore. I had to do the same as you by clearing the code as well so it could stay off. It has been 3 days and it hasn't come back on. Thanks
