How To Fix Custom Login Form Issues On Wordpress Or Elementor

Then Left click the highlighted text => Select copy => copy selector => (you should get #reset-pass-submit in your clipboard) Paste it in a custom code file where you add the margin you want on the button, add the form id in your css if your have several buttons with the same id on this page or your site. Example #resetpasswordform #reset-pass-submit { margin-top: 20px; } . You can also use the class name instead of the id name. Use a dot instead of # in that case in front of the class name. It is as simple as that.

Doesn't it do that already when a user registers it creates the user and they can login using the info added?

@@UrielSoto Well yes, but it wont read the login. BTW I found out that 301 plug in does the redirect away from the wordpress login. Its free. I see that the elementor login goes to a elementor part of metadata. I cant seem to get my login to read the info. Is there a specific tutorial you know of to walk you through the result of a successful login by any chance?

@@UrielSoto I have checked this tutorial and I think it's not compatible with this tutorial on how to create the login and logout because what's on that your tutorial seems updated compared to this one. All the info you mentioned on this link tutorial is already done but it's still showing the login icon when it should be showing my account. I don't know if it's incompatibility issues because it says it has not been tested on my wordpress version.

There isn't some sort of error message you can add within the plugin?

@@UrielSoto It is, but it's shown in the register tab. So if registration fails, I'm redirected by default to the login tab because the site refreshes and will not see that the registration failed. Anyway my solution now was to activate auto-login after registration and to add a message at the bottom that after successful registration, the user will be logged in automatically and if this isn't happening he should check the register tab again. This way it should be fine, too.

@@UrielSoto ​ @Uriel Soto Yes, I think what I done was that I made the register and login on separate templates, instead of them together so the simple switch between the Login and Register. So I've taken the tabs off. I was just wondering how to get the login link in the custom header to change to the name of the person so like HI... their name cos it still stays as login.
