How to fix Database on Virtual DJ - How to change drive letter and paths

What's Up DJ Max question how do you know exactly where your hard drive should be at on Virtual DJ I was just looking at your video and I'm having that issue where I try to load up anything off my playlist and it comes up as error

to all the idiots that don't get it i noticed my drive changed from F to G so i knew that he was quite right yes it works perfectly your damn head is hard it is simple just worked for me thanks dude

With VDJ 8, copying music from an external drive to the laptop became more than expected and got the low memory message. After getting space back again, when I added new songs to the VDJ playlists, it would delete all of the current contents. How do I recover my previous playlists that became empty when I added new songs?

I have a problem with my virtual dj 7. when I start to play a lot of music, a notification pops up indicating that my drive is full and it stops in the middle of my set. how can I fix this ?

Working on Virtual DJ pro 7. Having difficulty retrieving karaoke files from our external database, which were there before. However, we can find them in individual 'history' on the day it was played and in 'playlists'. Cannot do just a general computer search in the VDJ 7 pro program to find the song. It should also be noted that when we used VDJ8 pro, the external drive changed to E and in VDJ 7 pro the external drive reads F.

i have the same problem with my virtual dj, program and i tried what you did in the video step by step and mines still won't recover. my computer only has one hard drive on it and every letter i selected won't work. when i try to change it from c to g it just says the paremeter is incorrect. what can i do about that?

I have a problem is that I recently updated the virtual dj version 6 to version 7.0.3 But I lost my search database, well I still have it the old one. And I tried renaming it to version 703 but it didnt do nothing. It still shows up all my songs as unplayed :( , is there anyway I could get that xml of version 6 to use it on the 7 ???

i will be glad if you can help me out, i trasfered my songs from my phone to the computer and it says that same thing (error) i cannot do what you done there.Thanks

hey Max i have a different problem in Virtual DJ maybe you can help me out, i get a msg when i open the program saying "The Internal Database is Corrupted" have you got any ideas why this may be and a possible solution?

Hey Max: The Songs that don't have the Name of the Artist (only) show an Error. Only the ones with the Artist Names can be played. Do you know what might cause this?

Hi, cen you please help me. I have added some music to one of the files and after analyzing 100 of 300 i get the message C dirve is full but on my C drive I hvave still 70GB free space. Thank you in advance, Best Mat

Hi Deejay Max, I'm trying to upload my database from Virtual DJ to my website, which is through DJ Intelligence. Where can I find the file for my database, and how do I convert the file to a CSV file?

In my situation the music loads very slow,it didn't do that before,any suggestions, cause I can't mix anything if it takes forever to load,reply if you can,and thanks for the video btw.

Thart's stupid method and mess up disk management in some coputers. Why not to tell VDJ to access particular disk instead?

This is not how to fix VDJ, this is how to change a drive letter. It will not help when the next time the drive is plugged in and is assigned yet a different letter (if other devices have been plugged in). Again VDJ will be stuck. What a waste of time this video has been.

Drag and drop song from itunes directly on the deck, to play with Mac.!!

Are You making jokes? You can easy edit the database.xml in Your document path. It calls "VirtualDJ Local Database v6.xml" and there are entries like "" That can you change easylier than the drive letters. You risk a broken computer!
