I had a little piece stuck and took needle nose pliers in the back where the paper goes and got the piece out, cause I saw no way to remove the back cover. Hope you can help in case it happens again.
@@lindabradford9591 I found out today...the top can come off completely. First, you have to pull out and up the display screen, then pull down another part under(the part with the serial number). Lift gently the display screen and it will lift the top to a small degree. To the left side where the power button is, there is a little sliding part you have to slide it through a little maze thing. Then it will lift completely. Now towards the back, there are two parts you squeeze together to snap out the top. Lol...no screws involve just snap snap....while doing that I accidentally temporarily fixed my feeding issue. The feeding ball at the bottom fell out. I somehow wondered if I can print without it, tried it and it worked, only downside, can only fit one paper in at a time. I saw a video showing how to turn over the printer and put it back in...I'll do that some other time. Right now I have work to do and can't risk it not working again
Thanks! I didn’t even have to go this far with cleaning it- it turns out something fell inside and kept misaligning the paper while being fed through 😑 I thought the new Epson eco tank et-2850 was junK before I even got to use it.
Many thanks for sharing. I've had this problem for a few weeks now and wondered if there was a solution? Will try this, seems straightforward enough. Cheers.
GREAT JOB! THANKS FOR THE TIP HOW YOU TAUGHT TO OPEN THE BACK OF THE PRINTER WHERE I GOT MY JAMMED PAPER WHICH I WASTE LOTS OF PAPER THOUGHT THAT THE JAMMED PAPEPR WAS INSIDE BUT NOTHING INSIDE IT WAS THEN I SAW THAT ITS AT THE BACK WHERE THE PAPER JAM..THANK YOU AND HELP ME LOT!!👍😍🥰
Ive tried so many different things with my eoson et8550 and i still keep dealing with paper jams. Im able to do my regular maintenance prints but one i enter a dtf sheet to rear feeder, it grabs as if its going to print then goes back and shows "paper jam"
I had the same issue and I repair it a few hours ago after disassemble the device 6 times... The first time I found a torn paper that was 2x2cm from last year (I recognize the document). Then a scan error appeared, I disassemble again and failed but that allows me to understand how to disassemble the upper part of the device entirely. My problem was that my paper can't slide so the last time, I disassemble the whole thing and I really check all the little hole where the paper should slide and I found my bunny's pellet (3mm) in the middle hole... I took it with a barbecue stick with a double sided adhesive paper at the end. I used "Kevin at bch" channel with the video named "100016 scanner error" (there are 2 videos I watched both of them). If you don't have warranty like me anymore, I truly recommend to try this. And make a camera record while you disassemble so that you know the place of every piece. I recommend to be with someone to help because I couldn't do it on my own. I hope this will help !
I have the same crooked paper problem! Despite it being tightly within the blue tabs it drags one side of the paper down and feeds it through at an angle and it folds the corner when it feeds and doesn’t print properly. Printer is 18 months old ET3800 and done 2 whole sets of ink. Thanks for the back panel tip, I will take it off and report back …
I don't mean to be critical but you need a stronger microphone I can't hear you and it seems to me a lot of other people are the same way looks like a good video we sure could help have help
I would refer to the epson website and user manuals as that printer is quite expensive you wouldn't want to break anything and I can't advise properly as I don't have that model unfortunately.
I had to take back panel off to clear paper jam. Now I can't get the back on properly because it won't feed paper at all. Is there some trick to aligning the back panel? Thanks
I have had my printer for 2 weeks and this problem happens waaaay too often. I want to like this printer but I just can't. I'm so desperate for a printer cuz my HP is requiring $100 ink refills
What happens if you do this and it DOESNT help? Says paper jam or foreign object and theres no paper jam- it was happily printing away and then just STOPPED. I have one day left to send it back and i know its not broken... wits end. SOS
