You are a God sent angel. For a few months I couldn’t figure out how to look where the paper jam is till you showed where to clean the roller. There I found it jammed. Thank you!!
out of the hundreds of fix this type problem, yours was 1. in English 2. Concise 3. Precise 4. Work area was neatly organized which speaks to professionalism
OMG!!!!! you are amazing! We have a WF-3720 and the ADF was not working properly. The paper would go in and twist sideways. I am working on a home project and needed an ADF badly!! No office tech support to call for a replacement printer. Standing at the printer and lifting the cover sheet by sheet was frustrating and very time consuming. I watched your video and followed your instructions about cleaning the rollers and like magic, the paper went straight in and now works perfectly. Thank you a million times over. Marilyn, Ocala, Fl.
After 5 years of ADF jamming and Epson sending me another refurbished of the same model that also jammed, I was ready to finally toss it. But I found your video and in 10 minutes the ADF was feeding perfectly! Thank you!! I am amazed and grateful!!
🎉🎉🎉🎉Thank you! I spent a week trying to figure out what was causing my printer to jam. Taking off the back cover did the trick. There were 5 sheets of paper jammed back there from a few months ago.
Thank you!!! 15 mins trying to find the paper… nothing, I didn’t know about duplexer unit…. I was ready to buy a new one!! You saved me some hundred dollars!!
Thanks - hadn't realised there was an access from the back - yup, two pages jammed in there, not visible from anywhere else! All fixed now, many thanks!
My printer is about 3 years old, no longer under warranty, and has not seen a great amount of use until recently. It likes to pick up multiple sheets of paper at a time. I am hoping that your suggestions will help with the problem. Thank you for posting this. I truly appreciate it!!!!!
Thank you for sharing. WF 3720 series, are great printers. I had a paper jam. Pulled tray out pick up roller fell out. I had no idea how to put it back on. I was able to put the pick up roller back on looking at your video. Easy fix👍🏽
Thank you so much for this video! As with previous comments, I was able to figure out which parts to open and found the paper jam that I just couldn’t see.
It would be soooo helpful if in your “printer repair and mantenamce” playlist, you make a playlist for HP, another playlist for Cannon and another for Epson, etc. And even better would be to clump together like printers, ie. All HP Photosmart. Maybe alphabetize groups in one manufacturer’s playlist. 189 videos is a lot to sort through when you need help.
Hi. It may be that one of the rollers needs a cleaning or there may be a small broken piece of plastic or something stuck in the area where the paper creases up.
My epson xp-7100 still says paper out, I tried all of your tips, plus cleaning heads and running all Diagnostics including printer in printer ink and it will print that but it will not print a document
Unfortunately it didn't help my constant paper jamming (regardless of which tray I use). It really doesn't jam, it just doesn't draw the paper all the way out of the tray. Thanks for the clear directions though. It was worth a shot.
@@303electronics Just before I went to toss the unit out, I rechecked the duplexer and the middle gear fell off. I couldn't even see how it was ever securely attached. So I just ordered a replacement duplexer from BCH. Hope that will resolve the issue. It's definitely where the paper was getting stuck.
Hello. I really appreciate your comment. I have just made a video on the previous model printer, thinking that it is the printer you were referring to. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-wYkVJ9yicWg.html I only later noticed that the model you needed help with is WF-3733. I currently do not have the model to demonstrate on, but I think the concept if the printer design is same on WF-3530, WF-3640, and WF-3730 series. Please check out the video and see if it is helpful for you. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-wYkVJ9yicWg.html
My printer picks up several sheets of paper at a time and prints maybe half or a quarter of the first page on the first page and prints lesser amounts on successive pages. So, a 2 page document can end up using 10 pages of paper and just wastes the paper. I've had it for about 3 years. Otherwise works fine. As it is, if I have a 12 page document I have to sit by the printer and feed in 1 page of paper at a time into the paper tray.
Thank you so much for a great explanation. I thought one of those moves might get it up and running, but unfortunately, Epson being Epson, its getting thrown out after a year again. Its extraordinary how easy this brand of printers stop working and need to be thrown out. This is our third Epson that some stupid trivial issue has led to throwing it out. Epson - shame on you for building such utter pieces of rubbish!
I agree with you, but since these printers are built to the minimum sizes, anything can cause the jams. If it is ongoing, there must be something out of place insde the printer or back duplex unit is not prooperly loscked or placed.
Thanks for this. Very helpful. By any chance do you know if this is the same paper tray pickup roller on the Epson WF-4720? Looks similar. Bad job by Epson not posting any parts information for the 4720 anywhere.
I have a wf-3720 that was not feeding my paper. When I turned the printer on its side, underneath there were the two rollers & a clip just laying there. (3:09) So I reassembled it thinking this should solve my paper feed problem. I still can 't get it to work, what is your suggestion to my problem?
Hi! I have uploaded a video with a possible answer. Please let me know if it helped. The printer in video is similar to Artisan 837. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ypBrT-v0nMo.html
I have an Epison WF-3720, the problem is that it doesn't print, it only give out whit papers... I haven't change any inks except black, could this be the problem?
Hi. The reason for that is usually a clogged pronthead and sometimes a faulty cartridge. Also, see this video to see if your cartridge air holes are open. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-JkGBsxMEzDA.html
Usually multiple papers are picked up if the settings in the paper tray are not set correctly, which causes the printer to pick up pushed up papers. Also, check the tray to make sure the ribbed stop piece is not broken off. That piece helps separate the pages.
Hi, thanks so much for posting this video. But it hasn't resolved my problem with the ADF. I'm using a 3620 which I'm guessing is similar. It appears there are rollers inside the lid, just before the paper gets to the platen (just ahead of the white pressure pad that presses the doc against the glass). It appears when the doc gets to these they don't take the paper, or they don't take it evenly since the paper I pull out looks like it's gotten slightly crooked. They're hard to see but I think I see four that aren't easily accesible to clean. Can you comment on these and if I can open up the lid to access them? I don't want to start removing screws and have springs fly apart or anything. (I'm a retired IT guy of 24 years, but printers weren't much part of my work!)
Hi. Thanks for the comment. It seems that one of the rollers is bad or dirty. Another thing is to make sure the cover is closed all the way. Also, check to see that the adf cover is not out of place at the hinges.
hello sir im jose rivera im looking for refillable cartrides for work force pro wf 3720 with chip can yu please tell me where can i find them. thank you
Hi. There are white orr black stop rails in the back of the tray. It can be broken or misplaced. I would replace or return the printer if you still can. Most likely that part is broken.
@@bdc802 no problem. Also check to make sure you have set the paper tab on the correct size in the tray. If it is pushed in to much, paper curls up and printer picks up a few at time. And another thing is to make sure your paper is not curled or bent up at the pick up end.
@@303electronics sorry i was being very dramatic when I wrote that comment. I’ll blame it on pregnancy hormones 🙈 I just wiped the area where the paper feeds in and it worked.
