I've tried all four options and the problem still exists. What else can it be? My extended monitor is working fine but the screen of my all-in-pc keeps flickering rapidly.
When I uninstalled the display driver, the extended monitor went blank. When I rebooted the computer, the same driver was installed, as before, on both displays- AMD Radeon
It really worked for me, was planning taking it to technician. I updated the driver as instructed and everything is fine now. U saved me some money. I appreciate
@Lakshay Pant A bit late on this but I'll reply anyway in case future people see this. You don't need a second screen, it just helps because it's not as slow moving with another turned on. Just be patient and follow his steps.
ATTENTION! To ANYONE having this flickering issue, if you are able to Bluetooth or HDMI your computer to a secondary monitor or Smart TV and it works fine, DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT delete your graphics or display drivers under ANY circumstances. Just follow the steps from the video but instead of deleting any display drivers, just update them instead. If none of the steps in this video help you, just continue to use a secondary monitor until you can try to fix the cable going from the motherboard to the screen to see if that helps. If you delete the display drivers when you can use a secondary monitor, you will lose the ability to use a secondary monitor and you'll be stuck with the useless flickering screen, and it will probably completely black out on you and you won't even be able to see anything to install any new downloaded drivers. Delete at your own risk!
The second method worked really well for my laptop, after following each step not even completely restarting it, it went back to normal. I'm so happy I don't have to buy a new one. THANK YOU so much for the great video.
Saved me from throwing my laptop out of the window :) I had the top half of my screen flickering. It's only a month old and very expensive so I was pretty mad. Turns out, after watching your video it was my refresh rate. It was on 47hz. Fixed and working, thanks buddy :)
Exactly my laptop is probably about 2 months old and I slightly hit my own with the end of my phone. Cuz my phone slipped from my hand. Now its flickering on the right hand side
aside if the problem got fixed or no I really appreciate the quality of this video, the voice, the verbage, and the examples, the possible causes, are exceptional, thank you so much.
Thanks so much. I followed your first step exactly. After trying to update the Microsoft Basic adapter I got a failure on the update which advised restarting the laptop. After doing this the correct driver was picked up and the flickering has stopped for now. I really appreciate you making this easy to follow tutorial.
Thank you so much for this super helpful video. Your video is by far the most simple to follow and easy to understand and the pace at which you show the examples of how it's done is perfect, so many videos go way too quickly! The first fix worked for me, thank you!
@@bernadettehermogeno4313 bro it's gonna open , it just uninstalls graphic software u had . Your screen is not gonna go black . Just do as he says , it works.👍
Managed to get it sorted after doing both the first 2 fixes 👍🏼 many many thanks. It’s funny because the computer repair shop said they couldn’t fix it cause parts are no longer available…
@@whoadie8228 Think penny means because Africa isn't a country rather a continent it is not possible to have an African accent rather a Congolese accent or maybe a Sudanese accent or a Nigerian accent.
Second one helped me almost 90%. Had tiny flickers on right side of screen. After tutorial they are gone but if i look closer i see them but they are not annoying. Thanks!
My laptop screen is now functioning properly. The display was initially dim. I restarted but still didn't work. Saw you clip, followed your step and boom, everything is working normal as it used to before. Thank you very much sir.
Hey you fixed it for me, I had to manual fix it be over your vid helped me figure out it being hardware or software issue. Thank you so much, I subscribed.
Thank You Man!!! I recently bought an msi gs65 that cost me approximately 1500$... my screen was flickering and it almost gave me a panic attack. But after updating my drivers everything went back to normal. Thank you again, you are a true hero!!
Man, that is what I'm having issues with. Same exact model and year. I tried updating drivers but must be doing something wrong. What drivers do you have installed now?
Thanks A LOT mate! My laptop did that flickering and fading away thing twice already but I really didn't want to take it to a service cause I'm currently working on a thesis. Then I saw your video and voila !! You didn't only save me money but also a lot of extra work time and possibly missing my deadline! Thank you, thank you, thank youuu!
Awesome video, thank you so much! I was thinking it was due to a faulty display cable but as soon as I followed the step and uninstalled the display driver, it fixed everything. Life saver indeed!
Sir! I had a similar issue with my Samsung Laptop with AMD processer and slowly the screen also went blur! I followed the instructions, and the quality of display is back and flicker was also slowed down. Now I will go to technician for cable checkups. The demonstration of troubleshooting in this video is awesome and in details, which not evident very often. Thank you!
Spent 4 hours trying to fix it. Read one of the comments about hitting the back. Didn’t work. Tried again. Guess u gotta get it at the right place. Fixed!! 😁😁
Thank you so much! You helped me not throw my laptop against the wall! LOL The thing that worked was unchecking the Windows Error Reporting and Problem Reports boxes and then restarting the computer. Would have never guessed that was the problem. I have an HP notebook and something always seems to go wrong after an update. Thanks again - You are the Best! 👍😊
Thank you very much!! I don't have the same flickering problem, but a huge part of my screen was in color violet. None of the videos I watched were effective. But this one worked!! I was panicking because I'm in the middle of the semester in school and I won't have the money in case it's a serious problem. So BIG THANK YOU ❤❤
My screen flickered for years. Step one. no flickering, so it's not the driver. Step two. Removed the two error things, restarted, Boom, problem solved! I was about to buy a new P.C. and get rid of this one. Not now! Be skeptical if you must. I was too. This however, did work for me very well. Now my eyes do their own blinking without the computer's assistance! I'm extremely pleased with the result! Thank you Sir, for a great tutorial. Much Respect!
Thank you, very easy to follow tutorial. The display drivers solution worked for me. I just panicked for a minute when, after restarting my laptop and trying to update the basic driver, the system said that the basic was the best solution found. But then it worked.
Fantastic. You gave clear instructions and I solved my flickering screen... that gave me heart failure. I am also British and an English lecturer, and I must say, your English is super and easy to understand! I am very grateful!
Thanks! I finally managed to get rid of the flickering of the screen. Tried so many solutions without result that I lost all hope I would manage by miself. But than I saw your video and I said I'll give it one more try and it worked. 😉
Hey man. No words to say about your tremendous support .I got really really nervouse when I experienced the blinking on my screen..You saved my day dude❤️ Thank you very much.❤️❤️
Thanks for the video, i was stuck and already thinking of taking in the laptop to technicians. You saved me and lot people out there money. THANKS FOR THE VIDEO, MUCH APPRECIATED
Same with me. I tried Screen Mirroring my Samsung Galaxy A30 Phone to my HP All-In-One, and it randomly started flicking; just like this man's laptop. Though, not as bad as his case; only the bottom part. The flickering takes the entirety of my taskbar. It's super annoying.
I fixed mine by taking off the back case and adjusting the screen cables. If the screen flickers more or less when you move it then its probably a problem with the hardware. Usially the screen cables. For me one part of the cable just slid out of its normal position and it didn't connects properly as a result
@EasyTechs Thanks for making this video. I tried all the options, but my issue didn't get resolved. I just want to know if there is an issue with my screen. You said if the 'Task Manager' also flickers or if the screen doesn't flicker on external monitor there could be an issue with the display adapters. How sure are you about this? I am not sceptical, I just want to narrow down the issue between hardware and software. Many thanks, in advance.
Dude just change your extension chord or plug, i used to have this problem and sometime its ok then it happen again i can't figure out what happen, finally found out the reason why it happen, It's because the extension chord i used could not generate enough power/ electrical supply to the CPU.
Thanks for the help first one worked for me. Guys don't be afraid to do first one your graphics driver won't get harmed. I was worried about doing first stage too but there is nothing to worry about.
Hi I have a acer nitro 5 and the screen flickers but as soon as I plug in the charger it stops what should I do. And I have 2 adapters one is the intel(r) HD graphics 630 and other is nvidia geforce 1050 ti
In every time I turn on my laptop it is just totally flickering and I can't either do the troubleshooting as you did Is there any other way to have it fix?
Go to safe mode(search it in YT) and do the instruction done in the video. If it is still flickering then the problem is not internal but external, take it to a technician.
