Fancy that - just sent you a board for repair yesterday for this exact TV model! It's a really cool service you offer and these videos did really help a lot in making the decision to send the board in for repair. Really hoping to save this TV from ending up in the dump. I can't believe Hisense just gave up on providing replacement boards.

So I don't know what the available stock was at first and or that they usually provide but since this was their high end TV set, I am sure a lot of people were more inclined to get it fixed since it's a nice TV and thus there was probably a higher demand for the replacment mainboards for this unit. Where as their cheaper sets there probably is much lower demand as people have more of the throw it out and buy a new one mentality.

I have a Philips 75pfl5603/f7 that reboots constantly and also displays that storage is full. Highly suspect it’s the emmc chip. Do you also think it would be that?
@NicksTVRepair
@NicksTVRepair Месяц назад
Yes absolutely. Philips, Emerson, Toshiba, Hisense, Sharp, Sony, and a few other Android-based TVs almost all use the same type of eMMC chips. They all fail in the same way and require the same repairs. We do a lot of these repairs across several brands. We haven't gotten as many inquiries or repair requests for your model yet but if you did want to send it in for us to fix, we should be able to do so for you with no problem.

Sir first of all i am a great fan of you. Sir I havra question that how you buy/ source all these software like hisence55 inch software and Samsung and sony and lg and all emmc and NAND bios software.
@NicksTVRepair
@NicksTVRepair Месяц назад
It's the biggest challenge to get the software. No one sells it. For this one for example I waited 6 months checking eBay and other TV parts retailing sites every single day for someone to post this mainbaord for sale in working condition. The day never came. However, I found someone selling the entire TV from Chicago or something and they were selling it for $700 on eBay with free shipping. So I bought the whole TV. Once we got it here we were able to get the software files from the mainboard in the TV and now we have the software file so that we can fix these for other people since you actually can't buy this mainbaord to fix your TV. Same with the 55" version. This is why we don't really give away the software to anyone, for just this 1 it cost me $700. The most extreme case was for a Samsung TV a few years back it was the highest-end model they made that year and no one had it for sale. We couldn't find the software anywhere. We ended up finding someone also selling the TV in Dallas Texas but they didn't want to ship it. So one of my employees and I drove out Friday afternoon for 7 hours. Made a pit stop for the night, drove another 8 hours to Dallas the next day spent 1 hour there got the TV, got some BBQ, and then started our drive back. We didn't make it back until late Sunday. That one I think was the crazier one to acquire a TV with good software. Took us almost 30 hours of driving in the summer and the AC had broken in the car about 4 hours into the drive out. Nightmare. With hotel costs, gas, and the TV I spent probably around $1,300. Some however are easy not all of them are this bad. Sometimes I just go to Shopjimmy and find out they still have a couple boards left for sale and I will buy them from there. That's typically the best-case scenario.

@@NicksTVRepair this makes sense why you wouldn't want to give away some software to someone else. I bought a t56 xgecu and I was under the impression from your videos that all I need to do is basically take the good EMMC off a board, stick in socket. Click read, put a new clean EMMC in the programmer and hit program and then reinstall the chip. Is there any other thing I need to do or is it that simple. Your video makes it seems it's that simple since you sell the programmers. I'm a one man show in a garage that has fun doing this with zero experience except internet and forum base.
@NicksTVRepair
@NicksTVRepair Месяц назад
So the way we do most of our repairs is just as shown in the video. You identify the eMMC using it's part number printed on it directly, purchase a brand new replacement chip. Once it arrives, you program all 3 roms with the appropriate software using your T56 Xgecu and you are ready for the repair. You then remove the defective eMMC chip from the mainboard, and install the newly program replacement eMMC chip. Then you should be all good to go. The hardest part is sometimes getting the software. This model TV exactly was very difficult but most other models are much easier to acquire the software. If you are not a TV shop doing this with a certain amount of volume then it won't be worth it for you to invest in programing these. The way we approach it is yes we have to spend $700 to get a working mainboard for this model, but then we get to fix these models which we have had a lot of repair requests for. I have already fixed 5 of these sets since the video, so we already made our money back. Unless you are going to be doing this one a large volume it may not be worth it. Are you currently trying to fix this exact model TV? What model are you trying to fix right now?

@@NicksTVRepair fixing a 55h8f. So I just repair them in my garage and generally get the broken TV for free so I don't go too far into things.. but I got one of those main boards for $80 and the TV free so wanted to repair it and keep the software. Also I get a TON of 75H6570G and was tired of trying to find a main board for $150 and I wouldn't pay for. If there's a list of tvs you need software for maybe you can post it and if I can find something I'll send it to you. It'd probably be easier then searching yourself and paying $700 for it. Especially since you help us, we would then help you. It clearly shows your trying to start a RU-vid presence which I love. But we would never know what you need if it ain't posted.
@NicksTVRepair
@NicksTVRepair Месяц назад
That's true Right now I think we have all the software we need. I don't think there are any boards we are looking to get software for but next time I have a hard time finding software I could do a community post.

How to fix a 65h9g.... If you're already a tv repair company. This is useless for anyone trying to fix their piece of shit Hisense tv
@NicksTVRepair
@NicksTVRepair 8 дней назад
I completely disagree. This video shows you exactly how to fix the TV. Shows you how to remove the back cover, and how to remove the mainboard so you can send in the mainboard for repair. PS This is one of the best TVs Hisense has made. That's why it's worth fixing. The actual component level repair you aren't supposed to do yourself, it's for educational purposes. No one on the planet repairs this mainboard aside from us. I understand you may be upset that the repair isn't a simple reset you can do yourself, but that's why you have repair companies like mine that specialize in doing this for you. Otherwise, you don't have a choice you have to toss out your TV and spend another $700-$1000 to replace this set with a similar quality TV.
