That’s a great video, thanks. Well explained. I get the same concern with a right hand side snapping hip that only started occurring a few years ago - everyone says “no pain, no issue”, but to me it’s like an amber warning sign of imbalance. It happens on the same side if I do a KOTG split squat. I did what you suggested and raised the front leg height and the clicking reduced to a mild grinding. I’m sure my hips aren’t quite aligned and it’s all feedback. Something tight here, or something weak over there.

Great guru Graham I am in need of knowledge which i suspect you have. Sometimes when i engage my abdominals, i find it hard to breathe. I have been working on expanding the breath laterally while keeping rectus abdominis engaged, but nonetheless my lungs feel limited in their ability to expand during engagement of my core. Any thoughts on this?

If you’re flexing or engaging your core, that will limit how much your diaphragm can expand. There is a trade off here. Depends on what your goals are!

I've been running for about a year and a half now and have been using the forefoot method. I find i can only run 2 times a week at most though and have to space my training days out as much as possible to avoid shin splints. Why is my body not adapting? I'm 5'10, 195, average mile pace 8:30
