I cannot learn to run. My tibial plateau were both crushed in a car accident 14 years ago. As such they have almost no cartilage and a significantly reduced range of motion.
Is there a name for taking off your socks then using your feet like a chimp to put them in the laundry basket because youre too lazy to bend over? Im good at that one
i mean... i get the point... but... don't forget, even in beautiful lush fields, there are pointy rocks hidden inside the green grass that could mess your day up. so, if you wanna go run barefoot, pay attention, and be safe!
I wish people took their shoes of to go in my gym. It's currently our rainy season and no one wipes their shoes as they come in from the dirt carpark. Brown dirt looks great on all the black rubber mats and treadmills.
I'm not a runner; I do yoga and strength training. This series of videos is super helpful to me. I have the book "Knee Ability Zero," and this is such a great supplement to that. Thank you for teaching this.
I mean current marathon runners and the fastest ones use the conventional shoes so idk. I’ll stick to my alphalfly but I’ll try to trail run barefoot or close just not on hard concrete.
Do not waist your money on expensive foam Stop Your running shoes should feel like a car on your feet Well built spring shoes with real push power well designed shoe Foam shoes look like grand ma and grand pa jaw line you don’t want to invest in that do not invest that Something that runs like car with actual springs in the sole
I get the point but still disagree. Shoes force your feet into an unnatural state that is more efficient and effective. Hardcore powerlifters also fall into this trap when the muscle tonicity goes up so high they physically cannot squat their own bodyweight because their muscles have overadapted to squatting with heavy weights. The solution is to have recovery periods but not to ditch the entire sport or way of life altogether. Getting rid of foot dexterity so you can turb your foot into one giant spring at the cost of the inability to move in uneven terrain is good for most sports and everyday life. How many of you ever need the foot dexterity to step on radically uneven terrain???? Just rehab it every so often and then let it go back to being taped together by ligaments and tendons into one spring.
You might as well start running short distances and use progressive overload to build up to longer distances. Starting with a jog just creates habits that have to be unlearned.
Does anyone know of shoes similar to these but with more support for the heels? I think the flexibility of the soles and wider toe box is great but I'm worried about the pain in my heels being affected too much from the flexible soles
Thanks 😅 My chiropractor Just encouraged these same moves !!! Pay attention to our feet. There is muscles in our feet😮😅😂😂 to keep STRENGTH STRONG 😂😅😅😂😂❤❤❤❤
