Erick, not sure if you do any fishing, but something I've found that really helps is putting a handicap walker about halfway between the bow and stern. Picked up cheaply at most any garage sale, it allows you to stand and cast securely, provides a mounting location for rod holders, fishfinder, cup holder, life jacket, etc. Easy to tie down the four corners, folds flat for transport. I paint mine flat black so it doesn't look like a walker, lol.
That is correct. These have 4 holes on each. Bolts go through and you tighten them up with nuts on the other side. I am planning on making a transom wheel installation video, but for the Brocraft ones I use.
Oh I see what you mean. I would not recommend it. The wheels will have to carry the weight of the boat, and if the screws come undone, the wheels may fall out.
Hi bro Any advice how to remove the whole drain plug and replace a new one? The flap came out and I tried to push it back in and it is broke the thing that hold the flap.
Hi Eric kindly have a honwave, my valve has the bung inside the transom........how come yours is outside, surely a problem to remove when under power?..Herb
@@herbertabraham2174 To my knowledge, all the Saturn inflatables have it like that. All of the Saturns I have owned have had it like this. SK396, SD380, BB290, SK385XL, and ZK380, all are like that.
My pleasure. The wheels are not perfect but it gets the job done while keeping a small profile. I wish they were a little taller but it is ok. They do sell some that are taller but cost 4 times more so it made no sense to me to get those.
I just bought those exact same wheels for an Achilles inflatable I picked up. A couple of questions...did you put metal bolts / washers thru the wheels? Did you drill all the way thru the transom to attach the brackets? Thanks!!
...I have some Trident liquid food-grade silicon that is used to keep my drysuit gaskets nice and soft. I squirted a few drops into my boat's air valves so that they don't dry out and crack...well...that's the theory, anyways. I must seal my drain port too. Thx.
