Really needed a new roof. A piece of fascia along the roof line came off - it was that bad. They replaced the fascia but i have a piece of siding coming from the attic vent that popped out at the fascia now. They also damaged some wood siding during the tear off.

You can try however I have found your vinyl might be stretched and need to replace that piece

You could use a screw in the bottom lip to tighten it but it isn't kosher

This works at the very bottom of the siding close to the ground also? That’s where my siding came off.

I Have a corner piece that fell off. The installer clearly did a terrible job. How do I go about getting that put back up?

If vinyl siding you can kinda squeeze it and tuck it into the siding then remove a piece of siding about every 3 feet and drive in a nail or screw for the corner. You don't have to Remo e the piece all the way just undo the lap

ah man that normally means you need to install the piece on top a little higher however this could result in a chain reaction to move all the pieces above higher sorry it is like this hopefully you get it figured out

Did you use the tool? And pull down while pushing it in? You may want to check the bottom of your piece of siding to check it is not damaged on the bottom sometimes they snap off or fold in making it difficult to snap back in

@@jeremybachmann2281 ahh then it must of been installed to low you may have to go up and loosen the piece above the loose piece and raise the piece up you may have to split the difference in 2 or 3 pieces to get this to work
