How to fix low water pressure in kitchen or bathroom faucet sink low flow Moen, Delta, Kohler

I know that aerators block after a while, but refused to put my low-flow down to such a simple problem. I had replaced both valves twice: I've re-seated them, but this simple video finally got me to grab a pair of multi-grips and have a look. Far out, was that tap blocked. All clean now, and the flow is restored. Thank you for bothering to offer this amazingly simple solution.

Thank You SO Very Much!! This trick really works. At first, I was like, "What in the world does cleaning the filter have to do with the pressure. Then I just tried this a few minutes ago and now my water pressure is back on FULL. Whatever cleaning the filter has to do with it, it just made me a firm believer. My water pressure had been on low since last Monday (1-13-20) and today is Tuesday (1-21-20) of the next week (8 days). Now since I've watched this video tonight, everything is back to normal and I am good to go. Now I have first hand experience and I can now wash my dishes with a smile.😂 Now I don't have to call my maintenance man. I can now help others and/or give them instructions if ever they run into this problem. Thank You So Much again for posting this video, got me feeling all smart and thangs!!😂 Ps. I'm showin off!! I have low flow on my pull out faucet even after removing the handle. I've calculated it to be .5 gpm even though it's supposed to be a 1.8 gpm faucet. Where should I look next to troubleshoot? The supply hoses are fine and not kinked. Water flow is the same for both hot and cold. I thought about replacing the Kohler quick connector kit but have no idea if that would be clogged.

I turn on the cold, then the hot but the hot doesn't get any faster.. I turn the cold down half-way and the water gets hot, but it doesn't effect the speed it's coming out of the faucet. The plumbing in my house is a total mess, but this only started yesterday after cleaning the dishes. After the vid - Oh yeah.. this faucet hasn't been cleaned in over 20 yrs, I can't imagine the dirt in it. Edit - It's running 100% again, thanks for the help!

Just did this. Great video. Make sure your screen is thoroughly cleaned, neatly put into the right... thing it goes into... and the washer is put correctly in to place, or the inflow pipe will leak from too much pressure backup.

Thank you for the video. I have a similar but one sink (0:10) hot (left) and cold (right) in my rented (less than a month) home. My problem is that when I spin/open the right one the pressure is slow but when I spin/open the left tap it's fast. It started happening today, it was fast a few days ago. I think the problem is with that spinner thingy. Any suggestions or video?

Clogs often occur in the aerator, but many modern faucets can have a flow restrictor built into the valves or into the spout as a water conservation measure. The internal flow restrictor can get clogged. ( What you show as a strong flow in the video is not strong by the standards of the 1950's. In those days the whole inside of the spout was open. Nowadays if you look inside the spout you may see a small tube that is actually the channel for the water. )

I have a pull up faucet in the kitchen. I took the handle off and the water coming out of the hose is still low. What should I do then??

So I did this and the water comes out a lot better but only when the water is slightly on. Even then after a few seconds it goes back to low pressure. What if it still has low pressure even with the screen off? The screen is the obvious choice but when it still has low pressure even with the screens clean. Mine is like the second pull out style and even with the entire sprayer off it has low pressure but bathroom shower etc all have perfect pressure. Just not the kitchen sink.
