I’m so sorry to hear that bro. Death is never easy to accept. So we must choose to accept the love they left behind. Let that change us for the better. My condolences to you and your family as well.
Shout out to YOU! I have same issue on my sl500...key fob, top, interior door lock/unlock and trunk. I haven't tried your fix yet, but you've given me two potential quick/cheap fixes to look at fuse 38 and 71! Awesome!
Sorry for your loss.. thanks for video i was trying for 4hours trying to find problem and found it straight away and saved me a load of stress. In UK and now all sorted 👍👍👍
Hey Brandon, did you ever do anything about the 20 amp fuse that you kept blowing other than substituting a30amp one? I’ve started having that fuse blow on my 03, and it immediately blew a 25 amp one. I took out the PSE pump expecting it to be frozen up, but it turns freely. Would appreciate any advice or suggestions!
@@dalkeeper6143 Over time, even if the pump works, it draws more current with age. The brushes on the armature wear and it is less energy efficient. So the increase amperage fuse is a good solution for this problem. If it keep blowing immediately, then there may be a leak and the pump is working too hard to compensate for the leak.
My fuse behind the passenger seat keeps popping too and my top won’t work anymore. Wonder if I have this same issue. Will check when I get home. Thanks for the info!
ok bro Ingot one for you, I messaged you a month Or so ago about bringing my 04' SL 500 to you for the coil spring replacement. Now I have another problem, the key won't turn when put in ignition? is this usually a fuse problem? all lights and batteries working good and now.. What can it be? Tyler from California...
Did your car sit for an excessive amount of time? Did the car battery go dead? Are both batteries good? Sometimes…..you can put the key in the ignition and leave it in there for 15mins…..and the car will recognize it again.
Okay, third RU-vid video. I'm getting flashing lights but no locks, no trunk, no convertible top. Tried the behind the seat #20, looked for the #58 (none), and then did this (7.5). Nothing is blown!
@@goldelementautoworks No, I sent it to a shop that said they know how. Top works but door locks don’t! It’s going to a neighboring city soon for real help…I hope.
