I re downloaded after many years RE Darkside Chronicles from PSN. When it starts installing it says corrupt data. Any why to fix this? Every other game for me is fine
here from the future i keep get this message after like 5 minutes of playing a game “the game data is corrupted the game will close you must delete the game data to play this game” don’t know what to do bc i did what it says and it still doesn’t work😭
I deleted PS3 webman but the dev_hdd0/tmp/wmtp file is restored automatically. and the fan noise gets louder when the game is opened. I reset my ps3 and the problem still persists.
Webman has a setting inside of it that artificially increases the fan speed. All you have to do is open “webman options” and then turn off the”dynamic fan control”, and everything will return to normal
I put a new harddrive in mine. It formatted and when the update got done installing the system reset like normal then i heard a faint beep and then blue screen. There was no error codes no nothing just blue screen. I think i got a bad harddrive since ive downloaded the update a few different times in multiple thumb drives with the same result each time.
Clean Dust from fan area . The most probable reason for PS3 freezing issue is the overheating. Both the PS3 and the Xbox 360 were very bad as thermals go. To solve this problem, you can clean dust.
I wonder if you can help me please. I have a ps3 hard drive which i removed from my ps3 that died. Iv had the hdd for years not knowing how to retrieve data on it. Iv been told that the hdd is locked to my original ps3 that broke and it will not work on any other ps3. Is there any way i can restore hdd or access data like pictures n videos stored on it? When i have put hdd in another ps3 it only gives option to format which i dont want to do.
I dont know why this is happening but my ps3 cant start. I can see the 'plug in your controller ' screen but then it just suddenly turns off. There is a click (guessing it's in the hard drive) and then the ylod comes and then there is a red light blinking. What do you think the problem is?
I get "no applicable data found": tried 2 usbs, software from the PS website. not sure why, version 4.91, tried both USB ports. EDIT - , tried USB drives from 1gb to 8GB, formated MBR FAT32 in PS3/UPDATE/PS3UPDAT.PUP format, never works, tried all USB ports, unplugging the controller, tried many different firmwares 4.91, 3.74 even 2.80, and tried the firmwares from official sony & your link and others, non works. the update needs to be 2.70 or later. at best ive occasionally had a "the data is corrupted" for some older firmwares. so frustrating. Error 8002F147 when trying to read the USB update, but I think i know why now. this PS3 had a REX custom firmware 8/82 i think (I bought it 2nd hand only had it a few days before it died) so I found if I replace the HDD the screen asks about installing firmware & formatting HDD. I read I need a REX firmware to do this,, when I do it errors at 20% (8002F147) tried about 10 different REX CF to see if I can fix it but I t either errors at 20% install or the "no applicible data" error, which I think is because my console thinks its a dev console after the custom firmware and only wants that type of firmware. hope this helps others.
@@Gaming-Enthusiast yeah Fat32 MBR (even tried fat16 etc after trying so many different USB sticks, even unplugging the joypad once starts reading the USB as I heard that can cause problens too. i've even tried older firmwares, as mine wants 2.70 min so tried even 2.80 , always get the same message).
@@Gaming-Enthusiast yeah it seems to be as it had custom firmware, it will only accept a certain custom firmware when repolacing the HDD (as the it crashed & wouldnt boot, just a blank screen, but when swapping the HDD it invites me to install new firmware). I think the installed CFW was 4.82 REX but I've tried that and another 5 or 6, some try to install, format the drive then error installing at 20%. as it was REX, I believe it wont accept a original firmware or CEX one, as it thinks its a DEV console now. Im new to the PS3 , its a slim CECH2003B. thanks for trying to help.
So I've been trying to mod my PS3 but everytime I do it says the HDD is corrupted and goes to reformat the harddrive but when it does that it goes to a black screen and I have to start all over again. Any solutions to this problem?
Hi, my PS3 keeps throwing error "8002f14e" when installing system software it reaches 30% then fails, does that mean my drive needs to be replaced? Also when i tried my laptop's hard drive, installation reached 37% then failed. Please help
Well I didn't back up but my problem is when I turn on my ps3 my TV says no signal and it freezes in safe mode btw I have no pc or laptop only otg and USB stick
You need to get the update from somewhere other than the official psn network, I had the same problem your Web browser or windows os is blocking it from downloading properly thinking its a virus 🙄
