Here’s what fixed it for me: - Go to Settings/Accessories/General/Bluetooth and delete the controller - Then, use a toothpick or something a similar size and insert it into the pinhole in the back of the controller for 5 to 10 seconds, which resets the controller - Then, plug the controller into the PS5 with the USB-c cable that came with the PS5 or whatever one you have. Before, the controller was showing that it was charging and the little indicator on screen had the green plug icon showing, but the bar was stuck at level one. Once I did the steps as explained above, it showed up the same, only this time the bar was actually moving from one bar to two bars, indicating it is actually charging. Hope this helps someone!
i was playing 2k my controller turned off and then when i try to turn it back on it wouldn’t turn on… when i put it on the charger it doesn’t charge i’m super confused

Thank you so much!! My controller randomly turned off and it never said it was low battery. But i did the needle then resting it then i turned it on after 1 minute and my ps5 controller worked again😅
My controller blinks orange while charging but when I turn it on it says battery low since latest update. It's not one controller it's all of them and I got a new controller out and still did same thing as patch was needed
My controller won’t tuen on at all. It literally has an orange light appear for 1 second when I plug it in using the USB or Charging stand. The controller then goes off. In that one second the console finds the controller but the option to connect is greyed out. HELP! I’ve reset controller and nothing working. Followed 2 videos step by step but nothing helped.
@@abrasiveunit873 there’s this tiny hole on the back, toothpick sized. Insert there and hold down until the controller loses connection, then hit the home button and it should charge from there, if not rinse and repeat
Killed a guy in GTA he was a level 7000 or something like that then my controller justed stopped working I'm not wealthy so I don't got £70 just lying around I'm super annoyed. this didn't work have you got any other tips

My controller stopped working when I updated my console I tried resetting the controller the console rebuild database updating the controller it blinks blue then shuts off
When i uhh plugged in my Astro usb all of a sudden when my controller died it stopped working and the other one that I haven’t used all that often and it deid also and it gives no color at all even when u press the PlayStation button i rested the ps5 controller used multiple charges Used the back and front port no work it’s just sad I only had it for a few months now there’s no way my controller died completely that fast
@@Joker-zq4br it shows up as charging, and flashing on ps5 menu but it's not actually charging like it says it is.(sorted now tho needed a new charge lead)
@@yapops1945 I reset controller, cleaned charging port on controller and ps5 with air spray and it sorted mine not sure what it was as it was only a week old lol
Yeah that didn’t work at all!!! My cables work because they charge the 3rd controller I have… so what happened was I have a double docking ps5 deck that I bought to charge 2 controllers after I connected them to that thing now they won’t charge or turn on… even after I did this whole video step by step!!! Ugh!!!!
When I’m playing ps5 with the contoller charging it keeps flashing charging at 3 bars but never reaches full, when I take it out and plug it back in it says full. Idk

@@FaZe_Actomic bro, I just got it my controller fix. So connect your controller to the Ps5. Make sure you ps5 is off and you're controller is connected to the USB. Then hold the ps5 power button until you hear it beap 2 two times. It's going to ask you to connect the controller. Click on the controller a few times until it connects. And once it connects pick update my ps5. Hope this works for you as it just did for me.
Im confused because my controller will show it’s connected via usb but it won’t actually charge it until I turn the remote off plug it in and turn it back on
I think my controller just died. I tried resetting it and wouldn’t work, charged my phone with the cord and it charged my phone. Try smacking it didnt work, tried resetting the ps5 didn’t worked. I am just hoping that if I buy another one it works.
My controller wont turn on or charge. It just happened while playing a game. Connected to a power bank, that measures output, and it will only pull 0.1w for 3 seconds before completely dying.

Hi, my controller when I plug in to the PC shows the pulsing orange lights as in charging mode just for 1 sec and then back to the blue led one, the PS4Windows shows that it's charging but I am not sure, Also the program showed 87% charged and when I played Rocket League for 3 hours it dropped to 25% is it normal?
In my case it charges either when i disconnect it and then connect or when my ps5 is in rest mode. But if i plug the cable while playing it just wont charge untill i disconnect the controller. Weird. But i guess charges so alright?
My controller works with my laptop but when I try to connect with PS5 it just works till where you get select your account. My other controller is charging fine with all cables and ports. Please Help
It'll happen again, not trying to be negative either, but apparently this is a firmware issue regarding to Sony's side to step up and patch this problem, this is honestly a minor issue, if you plug in your controller to charge but it doesn't charge, just simply unplug it and plug it back in that'll resolve the issue, or you can restart your system as well.
How to fix ps5 controller white lights only, when I charge it, orange lights won't display but controller works perfectly but lights arghh! no blue , red , orange , purple lights just white color only can someone help me:(
I’m 98% sure that my controller is the problem. I have two controllers and only one of them is actually operating correctly. I put the working one on the charger and it charged fully. But, then I tried the other one and it didn’t even charge. The reason I don’t like using the working one is that is messes up my mic when Im playing. It creates static in my mic and other people can hear it. The broken controller charger doesnt even go in all the way which makes me think there is something wrong with my controller.
