How To Fix Punkbuster Getting Kicked Errors In Battlefield 4
In this Windows 10 tutorial, I will be showing you how to update PunkBuster, how to install PunkBuster, and also how to allow PunkBuster through the firewall on your PC or laptop. This will hopefully resolve the Punkbuster errors you have been getting when trying to play Battlefield 4 on your PC or Laptop. You might get an error message saying that you have been kicked by PunkBuster or some other PunkBuster error warning. As long as you have not been banned by Punkbuster then by following the methods I show in this video you will hopefully be able to fix PunkBuster from kicking you from Battlefield 4.

I to this day am still having issues with punkbuster. This video gave me a lot of hope. Unfortunately that was was swiftly taken away with another punkbuster message. I have watched countless videos on how to fix the issue, to no avail..... *cry*

2/5/23 it works for me make sure udp and tcp packets are inbounded and add bf4 to punkbuster and update punkbuster via pbsetup should be client v2.351 and server v1.905

yeah its actually insane, just installed bf4 again to have fun and first game i get kicked. thought i would get a break from this since 2021 but doesnt seem like it...

No matter what I try it just wont work. Nothing at all. I've watched many videos and browsed many question forums and nothing will fix this issue. I played last week and now I can't even stay in a server for longer than 3 seconds...I have no idea what to do.

the pbsvc isnt found at main folder if you're an origin user you'll find it at: ORIGIN\Battlefield 4\__Installer\punkbuster edist

I haven't tested yet to see if the game works, but just want to say this tutorial was incredibly easy to follow. Lots of tutorials make assumptions about what a user knows, is comfortable with etc. I can't think of a single instance of this tutorial 'skipping over' something. Very well done!

pbsrvc was not in my bf4 folder, but the firewall allows them through anyways. Is this normal?

hi, i have followed all the steps. but i don't see the pbvc file in the battlefield folder? can you help please. thanks in advance edit. im using the xbox game pass and ea desktop beta to launch the game. edit edit: solution go to the location of the game file. go to '_intaller folder' - 'punk buster folder' - 'redist folder' - pbvc.

ok you lost me when you said right clcik bf4, open file location, and riht click/run admin for pbsvc, because I don't even see that application on my screen???? I've downloaded pnkbstr and added bf4 as a game, but dont see that in file location.. help :(

So I have a problem. I can download and run the PBsetup file, but what happens is that when the update in progress tab shows up and it checks for updates. While all the elapsed, estimated, and remaining time text that are suppose to show up glitch out. They don't appear at all and the program crashes. I don't know why this is happening to me if there is someone that had the same problem as me and has a solution please let me know. I've looked online for a solution and I can't find anything on it.
