While cleaning today the same E3 problem was displaying and I could understand that the issue is with sensor but setting I came to know from your video and got success in fixing the issue. Thanks a lot.

Thanks, Aatik. The problem with ours is it was making a ticking noise, because the wheel was not centered between the sensor nodes but rubbing on one side. Once remounted and centered, the noise went away as did the E3 error. Cheers!

Hi Mr Aatik , i hope you are fine and I would like to thank you for your initiative to help people to repair their machines, I Have had a Sportop MT600 treadmill for 15 years, and this is the first time I face a problem consisting on a similar error 3, so I bought a new speed sensor cable from Aliexpress and I replace the old one by the new bought, but the problem still the same, i only doubt that I am not centered the disk of the motor in the " U", can you advise me what to do! and I will be thankful in advance for your help

cool! So its literally using the same technology found in old ball computer mice and arcade trackballs. I know now because I once took apart a noisy trackball from a game and saw the same setup. Thanks man for teaching me something new I am subbing! I didnt even need to fix my machine I was just bored and watching treadmill maintenence videos

Thank you for posting this! What would you suggest if it appears the speed sensor is imbedded in the motor? I am working on an UMAY treadmill so it is a bit smaller than a standard treadmill

I cleaned my speed sensor, dusted it dried it etc like you instructed and it didn’t work still. So I bought a replacement and just changed it and it’s still doing the same thing. Would you happen to know what is the next thing I can try to fix the treadmill if it’s not the speed sensor in itself what’s not working? Do I have to replace the motherboard?

Does this also work on a Bowflex for any other treadmill

Hi, I don’t get an E3 message but the Horizon Fitness t930 turns on with its 3 beeps and then the various displays just have dashes and won’t start! I’ve turned it on and off etc but nothing! Can you help?

Hi Aatik. Nice video thanks. Cheeky request - my tunturi j3f power board is flicking from 0.7v to 1.7v to the motor supply pins when the start relay triggers. 1.7v won't drive the motor though. Any idea which component might be causing the problem? I replaced the IGBT not sure what to try next.

My Horizon CT5.2 was getting E1 error after running 5 - 15 minutes. Found out that it was speed sensor that was not aligned to the magnet properly. Aligned it and fixed the E1 issue on it.

My tapis roulant technogym run race HC 1200 tell me the same E3 error " Belt movement stopped" ( indicated also in the inverter display) In fact, when I press start the belt does not move, i.e. it does not move as it does in your case, then it stops and gives an error ... nothing my belt don't move... I had the same problem. I tried everything checked motor. Belt and everything. Clean sensor and disk still no enjoy. Might it's needs rest from panel but not quite sure how.

Brother, I am facing exactly the same problem E 03 error. Sometimes when I disconnect and then reconnect the sensor with board it starts working fine. And I have to try a lot times to connect and disconnect the sensor.........

I followed your video presentation and my treadmill worked for 6sec and stop again with the E03
