How to fix a sagging front door...major settling/shifting on a steep street...Part 1 is what this DIY howto video is about. VideoJoe got a call from his best friend asking if he could come out & look at their front door. He went on to say that a door company came out & gave them an estimate of $2000 plus dollars to install a new one. What?!! Nothing doing. VideoJoe thought he'd better go out there & take a look & see if he could fix the sagging door without much cost. The thing is they live on a steep street & the ground has shifted thus making a big gap at the top of the sagging front door where they can still close the door but they had to remove the door strike plate in order to lock the deadbolt. Ah...still VideoJoe thought he would go out & see what he could do. If you know him by now, he can pretty much fix anything building wise/construction wise so I'm not too worried he can't fix it & make it look better, ahem. I think he might be coming up with an unorthodox fix to this sagging front door but when he gets done I don't think too many people will notice. How's he going to get in to fix the sagging front door? Luckily his God Son will be there to let him in & he might even get him to assist him with this door sag fix. Fixing a sagging front door even on a settling shifting steep street is easy...when you know how. Watch & learn as VideoJoeShows you how to fix a sagging front door...major settling/shifting, on a steep street...Part 1. Easy!
