This is some of the most competent perception seen on the internet and youtube reg. perception reg. how the shoulder is intended or evolved to be used. Is this your own developed exercises or is this based upon somebody famous or some recognised perspective or line of thought? Again, I cannot get my hands down .... as liftingting them to freedom is how shoulders are made to make hands and arms work vs. stabilising shoulderblades behind ribcage and lock them tight onto ribcage in order to create stability as many other schools these days seem to do.
@SpineCare Decompression and Chiropractic Center I have the popping problem, but with my lower half, especially my legs and feet. I'm barely an adult, but I feels like an old man when it happens. Can you please give some advice, or make a video about it?
I have suggestion for video: Focus on using rotatorcuff for realigning scap, arm and so shoulder as well as raise or lift shoulder to freedom by lev scap, trapz and use of facetjoints in neck?
@@MrCarstennielsen I didn't create the exercises, I am just sharing the ones I've learned over the years that I think would help the most. Thanks for watching!
Havent watched it yet but had the same reaction to the hip snapping video. Immediately laughed when i noticed i could exercise the problem workout without pain or snapping automatically after trying the stretches. I love this man
This is outstanding! I’m 17 and I’ve always had constant popping of the shoulder since I play baseball year round. Did this routine for a couple of weeks and now it’s gone
I can't believe it, but this is fixing my shoulders. I've never been able to do shoulder exercises since the start of my fitness journey because my shoulders were too uncomfortable. Popping, snapping, and pain if I pushed even slightly. I've been doing this routine twice every day for a 3 weeks now and the difference is massive. I didn't even realize how tight my tendons were and how lacking in strength my rotator cuff muscles were. Today I noticed I was reaching above my head putting dishes away and my shoulders were not uncomfortable or popping at all. Just because I can hold my support my shoulders properly. All I can say is thank you.
I can’t express how happy I’m feeling right now. I have had popping in my shoulders since I was around 11 (21 now), and I can feel some comfort already in just 20 mins of following some of these exercises. I had no idea the fix was this simple, thank you so much!
My goodness I don't know how many times I have been to the doctor's because of clicking and discomfort in my shoulder for the past 4 years. This man solved it in mere minutes without pay. Thank you so much and God bless you! You have given me more confidence in my body and in my workouts!!
I’ve randomly got a frozen shoulder so bad I needed a sling for a few days and a buttload of NSAIDs. Would be really nice to avoid this in the future. Extremely inconvenient.
best routine on youtube, ive searched every single video on impingement, noises, etc but none of them helped, then I remembered about your channel which helped me way back with my wrist pain and boom instant relief, did my first set of push ups after MONTHS of misery of popping and snapping and having ZERO hope thanks so much Dr.Rowe, will be doing this twice a day everyday until I fully feel ready enough to do high rep push ups again, thanks a lot
@@DrRowe hey Dr.Rowe, what would be a measurement of "being 100% healed", like I dont want to jump back into working out at my previous level right in thanks
@@speedsaint3587 came a long way since then, If I would do it again: I'd do "dead hangs", which is just hanging from a bar its the best cure, go to your local monkey bars or any place u can do pull ups, and hang off of the bar for a few sets also if you lift weights or play a sport, keep doing what you can do that doesnt hurt your shoulder I was doing a lot of farmer walks and as i did the dead hangs, I am now able to do push ups again. my shoulder pain still is present but its become a 1/10 compared to what i had back then and i only feel the pain if i do too many push ups or when i box and use my front delt muscles a lot as they still need strengthening stuff like face pulls were recomended to me but didnt help much at all and for a while i gacve up on any therapy exercise, just ignore the rest and do a ton of dead hangs and on top of that if there is any exercise that you feel helps ur shoulder, do that as well hope this helps - if you have further questions, feel free to ask
my shoulders have been popping for the past year and a half, and man, the stretches from this video actually helped. thanks for keeping it straightforward and to the point. this was the first time in a while that my shoulders havent popped when i move them, truly thank you.
These are perhaps the best exercises I’ve ever found for a giant shoulder pop that started about a month ago. I can’t believe these worked but I have to say these exercises are a 10 out of 10. My shoulders have stopped popping and it has also relieved nerve tension in my left arm. Thank you so much for this
THANK YOU SO MUCH!! I WAS WORRIED ABOUT MY SHOULDERS SINCE I WAS 12 AND I'M FEELING RELIEVED KNOWING THAT IM NOT THE ONLY ONE WITH THIS CONDITION.I WILL DO EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THE EXERCISE EVERYTIME I WORKOUT. THANKS AGAIN!!❤
Dr. Rowe, you are an EXCELLENT teacher!! You have the most concise and effective way of conveying information. Thank you, endlessly, for posting this. 🙏
Im a amateur mma fighter and this video is a live savior i literally recommend all your videos to everyone especially people who are in combat sports take care of your body you only have one, absolutely thank you for posting
i went and saw an ortho doc for my injured shoulder and he said oh you have muscle tissue damage, just stay active. no exercises, just a copay! thanks for sharing these great exercises, they will become part of my morning routine.
I tried one of your videos on how to stretch your pelvic area and it really helped. Now came here for another guide how to stretch my shoulder because of right shoulder popping. I am truly thankful for your videos!
Woah Doc! Reading all those comments, I felt this seems too good to be true and doubted the immediacy of the results everyone were claiming. But I literally just did like 5 reps of the first exercise and 90% of the popping sounds are gone. At least in my case that is. You are a gem! Thank you so much for this!
You saved my life. Im a tough guy but I felt like crying after the relief I got from your exercises. Amazing where I was before watching your videos. Thank you is not enough to describe how much I owe you. Thank you thank you thank you. You changed my life thank you so much
Truly Knowledge is Power! My shoulder problem which existed for the past 13 years is solved with these exercises. Especially the First Shoulder Muscle Fix exercise mentioned in this video. This kind of knowledge is very hard to get as not all know what they are actually doing. When I rotated my elbows to the position where get my thumbs up, there was pain in my right shoulder (somewhere under my front deltoid) and there was a big clunking / snapping of tendons. I fought against the pain and did the exercise again and again to get full range of motion with no disturbance. In a matter of three weeks the snapping and the pain went away even while doing this exercise. May you get all the blessing and the strength to keep up with your excellent work.
U deserve a billion subscribers bro!! U are a absolute blessing!!! Thanks you❤️💯 love from Gambia. I’ve been suffering from this for years.. I’ve seen a lot of difference💯
I had horrible mid back pain for three days since I did some gardening for the first time in a long time. Did a bunch of back stretching and pain improved. but the shoulders were absolutely awful. It was literally like having Rice Krispies whenever I moved the shoulder. I did these exercises and it immediately Reduced 80% of that popping. Thank you so so so much.
wow I literally did it while watching it and something changed in the way I felt on my shoulder blades..I will repeat it all the time just in case I get rid of this pain I have been suffering from for 14 years..thanks a lot
man since i was a teenager i was wondering if i could ever get rid of the popping. over a decade later i found you man. and i got a supplement to my stretching routine that works.you kept the busy words out of the video 2 i learned something every minute thank you very much.
Thank you so much Dr, I've been suffering shoulder popping for almost 2 years, felt so much relief after the 2nd exercise, you've just got a new subscriber
Done everything in the video for the first time and I already feel it is getting better. I couldn't believe a problem that been with me for years is healing with simple exercises
I've been working from home for over a year now and started feeling back and shoulder pains, I instantly felt relief after doing this. Thank you! you're helping so many people specially at this time when movement is limited. Hello from the Philippines!
@@DrRowe me too. I've got a torn ligament in my left shoulder which causes problems but I've been lazy in exercising it which has just made it worse. These are simple and your instruction is clear so thank you for that.
I suffered for almost an year, but after 3-4 days of doing the exercises that you so beautifully explained I'm almost healed. The world is such a Happy place because of people like you.
It really does help. I thought my situation will last permanently but it is solved in just a few days. Effective than the doctor I visited and better than lots of RU-vid channel out there. The doctor and medicine costs me a lot, but those exercises are free and easy. Dont know how to say to thank you.
I rarely comment on yt, but I had to thank you for providing these exercises for free on the platform, helped me tremendously with my shoulder pain🙌 Keep up the great work!
I can’t believe this actually worked! I’ve had popping and cracking associated with pain sometimes when I lift my shoulders to the side. I’ve been avoiding lateral exercises because of this. Turns out it was my poor sitting positions and lack of stretching that caused the pain. I thought i had rotator cuff issues but it was just lack of stretching and poor posture that contributed to this. Once I did these stretches, I have never felt more relief! Thank you so much!
@@dedivad Yeah my family told me they hear my shoulder popping/snapping loudly everytime I do lateral raises. Sometimes it’s painful and sometimes it’s not. I think my muscles might be really tight from sitting in an awkward position when I was in college. I might end up going to a doctor just to be on the safe side
Whoa. It actually worked for me! I pulled something in my shoulder rotary cuff area. I was trying to pull apart something. It hurt, but it didn't snap. I felt it move, so I was sore for a long time. I'm gonna keep doing this every day. Thank you so much. I was really hoping that I didn't need surgery. This is proof of it. Don't worry, if I can't do this exercise, I definitely need surgery. I'm still able to do it without a problem. Again. Thank you!
I remember thee first video of yours that I watched. It was filled with pertinent and extremely useful content from start to finish. I was like, this channel is gonna blow up! I still use so many of your videos, so I know 3 million is around the corner in no time (2.7 million subscriber's at this time).
omg thank you for all the exercises you provide. I'm in my early 20s and started a desk job sitting all day. I've had a shoulder problem for WEEKS and could not pop or unpop it and it was bothering me so much. doing all these exercises for the FIRST time helped tremendously. My shoulders haven't felt this relaxed in awhile. Chiropractic care is expensive so thousands of us appreciate this kind of help. efficient and resourceful!!
Did these exercises ONE TIME and found that almost all my popping and cracking were gone. I will be continuing these daily. Thank you! I also loved hearing a Michigan accent again; I attended Interlochen Arts Academy up by Traverse City.
Thank you for this informative video. On my first try I immediately noticed a HUGE change. Hardly any sounds! My right shoulder has been making popping noises for years, no apparent reason, but I've started working out and lifting weights and it's made it challenging. I really hope this helps alleviate the pain!
Thank you for sharing so much information, to let those of us who can't afford specialists and doctors, the means to heal ourselves where possible. As I did the doorframe stretch on the first rep, my right shoulder made a big pop behind where it connects to the collar bone and the clicking sound it was making when doing kettlebell swings has finally gone. Now to fix the other shoulder hopefully with the rest of the vid. The fix your knees with a butter knife video also helped me tremendously. Have a great day !
I just tried the door (or in my case a wall) stretch, holding for 10 seconds x 3 and i have to say my upper back and shoulders felt great afterwards. Burned and ached like crazy while holding the position for 3 sets but afterwards felt a nice warm relaxing feeling in that area. Tried it again for 1 set after a few minutes and it was easy to perform compared to the first 3 times. It's a really nice stretch for shoulders and across upper back and shoulder blades.
Fantastic! Was worry until I try your method today the snapping subsided. I expect to feel more improvement as I progress with your stretches. Thank for sharing!
thank you! I had v distressing problem that was diagnosed as Frozen shoulder. Here are my detailed notes, but I intuit what you are saying, in relaxing the infraspinatus will DO IT. My long notes for a v distressful problem with my right shoulder. THANK YOU !! Frozen Shoulder (FS) I’m confident my ailment is not the typical Frozen Shoulder (or inflammation of the capsule or the tissue surrounding the shoulder joint), but an inflammation of one of the muscles around the shoulder. I believe the some of symptoms I exhibit are typical of the FS, BUT disinct as - I do not have any pain in shoulder when passively manipulated. For eg, when benging at my knees, and shoulders drooping there is absolutely no pain in movement of shoulders - No pain in typing, or rotating shoulders clockwise or anti-clockwise. I hear loud CLICKS in my right shoulder, (but none in my left) when doing so. There is also no pain whatsoever. - Only during certain certain movments, such as outward active rotation of right elbow with in front or at my side, trying to bend my elbow outwards, do I have very limited mobility, of about 30 degrees, (far less than left elbow that rotates just about 70-80 degrees) - I cannot walk my right hand up a wall when my arm is stretched more than 40 degrees from vertical - this is the most distressing. HOWEVER if I move walk my hand up passively, (using my left arm as the power source), there is absoltely no pain in the right shoulder. As a result of above symptoms, I don’t believe I have the typical FS (inflamed capsule) but I believe the muscles around shoulder (are they called the cuff rotators) are inflamed and have seized up. My research and self-analysis and research suggests it’s a highly inflamed Infraspinatus muscle My self-diagnosis suggests my problem is an inflamed Infraspinatus muscle As outlined here, it can often be a precursor to a FS What Causes Infraspinatus Pain and How Can I Treat It? www.healthline.com/health/infraspinatus-pain From article link above, not alleviating it or not relaxing it via exercise, such as the pendulum, This exercise helps stretch your muscles and the space they pass through so that you don’t get a frozen shoulder. I have started doing the pendulum exercise here Pendulum and Codman Exercises for Shoulder Rehabilitation I find no problem in performing the passive pendulum motion (I have equal mobility in my left and right shoulders passively) , but only have v limited mobility when I attempt it actively in right shoulder. THANK YOU !
there are still clicking/popping feeling in some ways but it definitely worked on my first try. i tried doing jumping jacks after doing this and there's no clicking/popping feeling, there's no discomfort anymore. thank you very much!! i'll absolutely do this everyday from now on!!
Wow! I am so happy I could scream! My shoulder popped out and back during a wierd fast move but my shoulder immediately went back in place. I have tried stretching and massaging but nothing. After doing several more reactive drops because I can feel a pulling that feels more irritated than painful but even moving a quarter of an inch uses different muscles even into the neck. I can feel relief after my first go! Unvbelievble! I'm going to work on all of these and keep you posted.
Oh my gosh I’ve had those clicking noises and it bothers me so much I can’t believe how simple the fix is! Loved all the exercises!! I watch all your videos and love them! Wish you were in CA! Thanks for all the amazing instructions! I’m going to do these daily and will report back when my shoulders are better! The stretches feel great!
Holly molly this actually works for me in a minute my bone crack when i do the shoulder mobility fix and my shoulder crack sound gone!! Thank you so much
Thank you so much! I've tried a lot of other things including equipment which didnt work. This, after one workout eliminated the cracking and the popping is almost non-existent. Feel so much better and I shall continue these exercises. Thanks again 🙂🙂🙂
Best sir you are a magician. There are a lot of fix the shoulder popping videos out there. And this is the only one were I actually felt progression. I am not yet cured from this curse, but with your help I will get there soon enough!
Thank you so much for the video! I noticed the effects after doing the first two exercises multiple times and I feel a lot better now. I'll definitely include this exercise in my daily routine. May I ask for an explanation of what makes it work?
For 3 years my left shoulder were making that noice and nobody were able to cure what could become a real nuissance. And just 3 minutes with a tennis ball and your exercice give me so much relives, I m able to rotate my shoulder without any inconvient and pop sound. Thank youtube and THANK YOU DOCTOR! You re in michigan, I m in France and you help me so much! Words aren t enough to thank you!
I'm here for my Shoulder Clicking, I don't need to feel better, just get rid of the clicking as I believe it will eventually lead to problems. I will try these exercises and report back after a few weeks , again, I want to get rid of the clicking. This is the first video on 'fixing' this issue that is truly professionally done, plain language , nothing left to question, other videos I reviewed on this issue, seemed to be out to impress with proprietary language and methodology, and not explained well at all. Thank you for this excellent video.
Daaaamn, I did the first exercice and my shoulders felt loose already !!! I'm gonna do this routine often. I had those pops for 2.5 years so I know that it will not take 1 night to get rid of them and fix my problems
Oh my god thank you man I love you, 5 years ago I went to a gym and got Injured and I stopped exercising hoping that Ill heal up, but nothing happened and I stopped going to the gym because when I exercise the pain was insane
These excersises are gold nuggets to help you! Well taught and explained and not complicated . Relief from different area body pains ! I give 10 STARS.**********
You have a gift of coming up with the most effective exercises ever. ❤️ Plus, you come straight to the point. No BS build-up and here’s one exercise that will change your life :) Thanks for sharing your knowledge.
Dr. Rowe, I got a grinding shoulder sound after I tried bench pressing heavy weight last week. This helped me a lot! As I follow I can feel the popping sounds slowly lessens. These exercise are simple and very helpful. Thank you Dr. Rowe!
@@farhadahmadyar4192 I still have it now but not as noticeable and its less frequent after I tried this stretch for days. I also refrained from doing exercise that uses my shoulders for 4 days to a week if I remember correctly. Resting it played a huge part in its recovery i think.
Amazing. I cant believe it. I have no words to describe the relieve I just felt. How often do you recommend doing this routine ? Im also gonna do the scapula/serratus routine. 🙂
I workout 5 days a week and my right shoulder hurts a lot. I tried to stretch it many times without any results. I tried yours, and I feel it helps . Thank you.
Genuinely have never stretched my shoulders before but after doing these stretches, it felt like I just went to get an expensive massage! And I serious!! I never comment on RU-vid videos but this one is too good to not praise!!
Holy crap! I'm on the highway in my truck and my shoulder is snapping popping like crazy. I know I shouldn't do this while I'm driving but I did a few of the scratches and voila it worked! Amazing!
Really great stuff. I started getting shoulder popping and inflammation a few months ago especially when I do dumbbell/bench presses. The bone that sticks out at the top of my shoulder (clavicle) gets really tender. These stretches really help. Thank you!
i was watching a bunch of back and shoulder cracking videos from you because i really need it, but then i started to wonder: HOW COME YOU'RE NOT A HOLLYWOOD STAR?!
