My one hip would non-stop "pop" during my workouts, it always prevented me to push myself because it would become really uncomfortable at times. After doing these stretches, I did my regular workout routine and there was no popping !!!! And I am beyond happy and grateful and amazed !!! Please give these stretches a go if you deal with the same issues
@@endritthaqi3459 I do five minutes worth of stretches before I do any ab/leg workouts and it seems to help me a lot! I still have the od pop here and there but it has been a lot better since I started doing these stretches. I used to never stretch and I think that's what messed me up, so now I try to stretch every single day. I feel a lot better physically and mentally !
@@johnygibson4057 no, not me personally! When I would work out it would non-stop pop (especially during leg and ab workouts) and would make it really hard to do the workout because it would get really uncomfortable. It still happens once in a while but the stretches have helped a lot
@@SureYoureRight It does, momentarily. people think I broke my bone when they hear the pop and I always squeal making it sound worse lol. It's been difficult getting in touch with a doc due to covid
@@SureYoureRight just imagine trying to sit on a toilet when you're hip bone feels like it's seperated from your leg bone in such severe pain your whole body goes cold and numb from the pain, HELL YES IT HURTS!!!!!!! I'm going through that as of now I have to prop my leg up with pillows just to sit down and thank God I know how to squat to pee and going through anxiety thinking about having to #2 pray for me😧😧. And pray you never have to experience this awful pain
A big thank-you from across the pond, I am a Jungian psychoanalyst in Brighton, south east England. Sitting a lot goes with the job - so I can get very stiff. I recently experienced a clicking in my right hip, which was then with me on every step I took. I thought it might mean I needed a hip replacement (I'm 70 years old in February), and I found it upsetting as walking over the South Downs with a walking group is one of the social activities I enjoy. I tried your 'two 90s' exercise on two consecutive evenings, and it is now as if I never had the problem. I am very grateful for your generosity in sharing these exercises online. They are quite simple, but very effective. Thanks again, John.
Thank you SO much!!! I've had pain in my legs for over a year now that has kept me up at night and my doctors only input was lose weight and take panadol, now I come across one youtube video and my legs feel like normal legs again, you have done so much for my quality of life , i really cant thank you enough.
I'm going to try this tomorrow. I have to go sit on bleachers tonight for my sons bball game. I don't want to make things worse before that...as it will probably get a little worse before it gets better. Thank you for these videos!
OMG, I'm so thankful to you!! Everytime I train (Exercise/Martial Arts/Sports) there's always this weird feeling in my hip, and it becomes painful the more I practice continously, now it's gone! I thought I was destined to be not physically fit, thank you!!
Man... there’s a couple things about this video... 1. I think you possibly just saved my life 2. My chronic stiffness may have been cured! 3. You possibly just cured clinical depression...🙂 4. The healing/ slight comedic undertone in this video is priceless God bless you Cruise! You’ve done the impossible 👍🏾
I'm really glad you found this video and it made a big difference, and I do hope the exercises help for a long time to come. Thanks so much for watching!
Always had this painless, hip pop whenever I did leg lifts and found it annoying. Did a few of these stretches and it really worked like a charm, thank you! I didn't expect stretches to help with popping lol
@@Iicrxna I just did what the video instructed. The popping went away for a few hours but came back, so I assume I just need to regularly stretch and exercise
Tysm I'm a rhythmic gymnast (7+ years already) and this helped me sm i can do front splits with ese,but when it comes to do enything with middle splits ive been hearing poping since so long and if i do it much it would even pop when i walk. And no one knew how to help me and listen im a teenager im not even that old.i tried it it helped me,i will repeat it for few weeks and im sure it will be completely gone.🎉
I'm 16 and starting Calisthenics. It is good to know I'm not alone. My right hip stopped popping for the entire workout, which made me able to get in many more reps. Thanks for the help, im sure I'm gonna improve because of you. I can't express how much this means to me. Thank you.
Those were hard for me and I felt it exactly where you said. Unreal how the body changes over tine. Thank you so much. I’ll do there’s and see the progression.
You are a life saver. Was about to go make an appointment for a physical therapist but this video solved my clicking sound issue on my lower back. Thank you!
I’ve incorporated some of these stretches in my daily workout for 6 months now and my left side is still popping but not as much as before. Being 6”5 multiple joint, hip and knee mobility issues along with motorcycle crashes have taken a toll on me.
I’m so grateful for this omg😭 I’m only 15 but one of my hips kept making a pop when I was working out and it really made me lose motivation but now it’s all good tysm
I'm going to try this tomorrow. I have to go sit on bleachers tonight for my sons bball game. I don't want to make things worse before that...as it will probably get a little worse before it gets better. Thank you for these videos!
I used ot be a professional dancer so I have snapping hip. Both of them really. To complicate things I am now partially handicapped due to an unethical doctor at the top orthopedic hospital in the country putting a toxic metal in me. I could not walk at all for 4 years, They kept saying it was in my head. I finally went to another hospital and got a diagnosis of metal toxicity within 2 minutes. Right now I cant do these exercise. They seem good for normal people but I am damaged I hope to be able to do them one day. I am only now learning to walk again slowly with a cane. Its very hard. But my hip still pops and did for years,. I hope to try these one day I subscribed to you!
Same with me. Almost instantly, my right knee had an ACL reconstruction years ago and ever since I've had what feels like the IT band rubbing over the hip when I do Hip rotations and "open the gate" movements as a warm up" the same knee had a bucket handle meniscus tear which seemingly made it worse (and possibly added to the cause of the tear in the first place). Currently recovering from meniscus damage on my left knee & noticed the same feeling on that side, after just doing the first stretch that almost disappeared, I'll be doing this routine daily from now on. Thank you! (Subbed as well 👌).
I don't know how to thank you. I don't really trust these kind of videos when it comes to orthopedics because they rarely work on me. My left hip where my femur connects to socket was clicking for 3 years and I always skipped the leg raise part of my abs training due to that 😀. I don't know what kind of dark magic you just teached me but it's not clicking right now. For the first time in years I feel comfortable raising my left leg.
A very good video. I am suffering from this problem for the past more than three years.I have got done MRI twice but no satisfactory relief has been achieved.I want to send the reports of MRI to you for your perusal and valuable advice.will you please oblige me by giving your valuable advice.thanks
i was in a four wheeler accident over a year ago and have been struggling with my left hip popping and a lot of SI joint pain and overall discomfort with both hips and these few exercises gave me some relief i haven’t felt in so long! thank you!!
I have that kind of injury for years, taekwondo athlete, those exercises however help to reduce the pain and popping sound, not a total cure, but a remedy to atleast make your hip/legs function.
Every since I discovered your page I’ve been able to find relief every single time. You’ve introduced me to stretches I never seen before and they are exactly what I need! Thank you for your content!
the first stretch really helped fixing my snapping hip. Before the vid, I could feelmy hip snapping everytime I walk. Thankfully, after this vid it stopped popping
I havent been able to visit my physio since March because of various lockdowns. I took up yoga in March and it's great but I thought I couldn't fix my hip without my physio- that is until I searched for solutions and came across this gem! I just did the exercises along with the explanation- so I didn't do the holds for extra seconds- just only as long as the demonstration- and my hip that was popping for the last few months is not popping now. I'm actually a bit shocked- I think the one that got my pop was the one with the leg straight on the chair and then lifting up. I really felt my special weakness there even though I'm strong from the gym and yoga. I'm going to add these moves into my yoga routine to see if I can keep that pop away- it pops really loud- I find it quite disturbing. Wow- great video- saved int my faves now! Thank You!
Thank you soooo much! I have had chronic him popping in my left hip for years. It’s always made me avoid working out because of how uncomfortable it gets. The one exercise in this video that made me realize how bad my hip popping is, is the can one. It gave me the deepest hip pop I’ve ever felt. But it sort of gave me instant relief while continuing! I’ll keep doing this until it’s gone for good!
Hello Jess . Did you fell cramp or squeezness in hip and thigh before that Deepest pop because when I hold that leg raising strech I fell the same squeeze or cramp then I stop . Should I go further for that big popp. Eagerly waiting for your reply.
I felt a cramp on the last side leg raise one (for the glutes), on a scale from 1-10 it hurt at 7. I was about to stop but I kept going and did 6 leg side raises. Each time it cramped less. First time doing these stretches, lets see whatt the future holds. @@Sunny-hi8le
The one where you hold your leg above the chair for 15 seconds greatly reduced the hip popping I had from laying on my back and raising leg to a 90 degree angle. It felt so much stronger thank you!!!
I've had this problem for a time now,it doesn't hurt, but it's really weird,I did some streching almost everyday but not these kinds.I started today doing these ones.I'll coment back in a few days/weeks to say if these work or don't on me.Thank you for the video.
So,2 weeks passed,i've been doing the streches almost everyday and it almost went way for good, sometimes it still feels weird but I believe it will be gone for good after a few more weeks.Thank you so much :)You've healed me,along some videos from other people with a few different streches as well, but all of them are similar tho.Thank you again !
@@sharveshs8393 I did it daily. Like I did it once, 5x15sec both sides, and it felt much better right after that. Like my hip when Iam doing the circling warming up move with my leg, just feels much free, and there's no cracking feel, like if there was a block or something. I did this one: 1:00
My right side exclusively has issues with the hip joints / hip flexor areas. I can pretty much just continually create a popping sound by sitting in butterfly and just moving the “wing” back and forth on the right side. I’ve watched some of your videos in the past about stretching the legs, but this one seemed to completely remove that pop! It also showed me my left side has no issues because I could do a few reps of each of these with almost zero issues but my right side was super difficult and painful. I think due to sitting in a chair and slightly leaning into my right hip is what causes it. That inactivity and pressure tightens the muscles
Ok wow, my mind is blown! I’ve had SHS for 6 years. Begged my doctors to give me a workout and they denied me it. It hurts all the time along with I might have fibromyalgia. After I did this workout my hip stopped snapping and the pain stopped in my hip. I’m about to be 18 and this is a game changer
How many’s times a week did you do this for ? Iv have it for a few years as well just figure my hip was broken lol . Definitely good to hear that this stretches are affective and that you’re feeling a lot better .
@@nick2aim431 no, I can’t say this would ever be fixed. I can’t say much of anything really.. there is no direction to what even caused if. I have fibromyalgia which started at the same time this did. I heard somewhere that fibro can cause it. It’s not fixed, but it’s better. I will admit it’s better. If I keep doing the stretches. The hip will stop popping, but I have days where I have to do it a lot of times to make it stop popping.. but of course I have an illness that will cause it. So, my outcome will be very different then yours. Have you tried it?
@@richardleon1568 I know that feeling! Haha meant to send that other reply to you. I was scared too. But I have an illness that causes my muscles to become very weak. I don’t know if it should pop or not anymore.. sometimes when it doesn’t pop it goes into extreme pain.... like bad. Almost as if it was caught on a bone or something. But they can’t see SHS in a x-ray or MRI. Only way to see it if doctors ran dye through your body.. I don’t wanna take my chances with that at all. But I can say this much. When I flare up, the like with SHS goes completely out. I can move if some, but no weight can be applied onto it at all. I basically can’t walk many times
xXAngelXBladeXx I just tried it now, I have to admit that it got better. When you try bring your knee up to your chest, does it also feel painful and does it feel like theres something stuck in between your hip joint and leg?Like a tendon or something?
Thank you sooo much! I’m a Pro Golfer and my hips have been really giving me a hard time with popping and soreness (overall just feeling weak). The first day I did your routine I was able to golf pain free! Thanks again.
@@DrRowe yes it worked fine just an hour ago, I had a long time to do some exercise (ex boxer) now at 48 I am trying to get back in shape, and your videos about 2 months now are so useful adding them to my workouts, thanks again doc keep the knowledge coming, respect from greece👏🙏
Doctors are no one but an god themselves. Thank you for sharing valuable remedies also we want a video joint support supplements . Like omegas vitamin calcium.....
Hello, thank you so much for this super helpful video! I just have a question: Are these exercises safe to do if you have sciatica and/or back problems? I'm especially concerned with the exercise that involves some twisting. 😢 Thank you!
When in doubt, don't do it and ask your local chiropractor or doctor instead. Here are some stretches specifically for sciatica: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-bAfjj3RmCgI.html
Please help me Dr. The right side of my body is tighter and heavier than the left side. It's creating asymmetrical appearance and unbelievable pain. Thank you
i have a click sound when i raise my knees up to my hips. i tried the first stretch with knees bent and felt alot of tension goin up the side of my back. ill keep trying it out hopefully it helps
Update it did work 2 days of stretches and no popping but then the next day I had a strained muscle in back of knee.. I dont know if the two are related
What I'm finding is the legs, glutes, and hip muscles are weak, I started playing golf and my right hip has been popping and with overuse, it even can hurt for days. I'm in decent athletic shape but my lower body is a weak point. I'm meeting with a sports medicine provider tomorrow. Great video. I want to add these to my winter workout. how many times in a week is suggested? Thanks
I had no idea this was an actual problem that others have and that there is a name for it as well 😕 I can't even count the number of times I have to pop my hip through out the day . I'm grateful to my husband for finding your channel for me ! And I'm pretty much going to have to do every single video of yours because my back has all of these pains 😂😞 Thank you for your channel !🤗
T H A N K Y O U for this video !! After doing the stretches yesterday I felt immediate relief and this morning upon waking up absolutely no stiffness and no pain so it really really really helped and it really really really works thank you from the bottom of my ❤️ 👌🏻🙌🏻👍🏼
Love this video, so I tried the exercises straight away and I got a HUGE and painful cramp in my left butt! That tells me one thing: I really need to do these exercises, only real slow... 😊
I feel like it just made it worse, I now instead of feeling and hearing it right after I rotate my hip, I feel a dull pain after the said rotation, until I move hip area forward while in a standing position, making an arch and only THEN do I feel a hard painless popping sound deep inside my hips and then the pain is gone
