Hey, thank you so much for watching. Can you elaborate a little bit more how so. Because I’ve actually use it at a wedding on Saturday and it worked perfectly the overheating warning light never came on.
you called the r5 ii 4k 60 rubbish... but there is more to an image than oversampled vs line skipped... The R5 II is hitting 2.5 more stops 'Usable' of Dynamic range over the R6 II in cLog 2... and If you wish you could shoot 8K 60 and down sample yourself in post to 4k 60 and than there is zero compromise in image quality and than the R5 II and R6 II are in totally different classes in terms of video... However, that would come with larger files, but id still rather have the 4k 60 clog 2 line skipped video in the r5 II than the oversampled R6 II I shoot with an R6 II and i love it... but calling the R5 II Rubbish just made little sense lol.
@@M_a_n_00_7 oh I completely agree with you. I would love to have r5mk2 purely for clog 2 because I do have the R5 Mark one also but I just can’t understand why Canon would make such a soft image such a good camera trust me I would love to have the R5 mark 2 I’m just saying Bro, but thanks for the comment noted.
Thanks for the response, keep doing your thing, No hate on my side all love. additionally in the R5 II defense its got a higher resolution sensor so down sampling is more difficult compared to the R6 II so canon probably felt if you desperately need the resolution shoot 8K... But we can all agree 4k 60 oversampled would have been amazing... I'm hoping I can get more work so I can justify the upgrade to the R5 II for now I'm loving my R6 II... But I'm a sucker for slow motion 120 lol overrated, and over used? defiantly... still nice to have? absolutely.
@M_a_n_00_7 hey brother absolutely no hate at all as professional as we are we’re still learning and of course I would love a R5 mark two like you said if you shoot 8K 60 and downsample would solve the issue but then you have to upgrade your memory cards and those CF express cards are very expensive I just purchased a 256 and it cost me nearly £200…. But thank you for the comment…. I do shoot the R5 and the Canam R6Mark two for now they get the job done.
@@ashstonk Indeed those cards are really pricey! And the more I think of it you might have a point... Done a little bit of digging and in 8K and even 4k 120 as long as its LGOP you can record to an SD card... However, its only 8K in 30... So assuming CF cards droped in price and become more attractive, we still have an issue that when recording 8K 60 it cannot be recorded to an SD card... So you have no backup... And for weddings I wouldnt want to record to only 1 card in case the other fails... So ya its really unfortunate that the R5 II is line skipped...
@M_a_n_00_7 hey man I’m glad you figured things out yes the R5 are not cheap cameras to accommodate however I do have othe atomos ninja VP and the ultra which I used to record Wedding ) so I do have back up on the camera and also the ninjas are safer to record on ssd
