I see batteries on eBay for the 1st generation P2920 Nvidia game controller. Would those batteries also work on the second generation Nvidia game controller? Could you specify what type these are?
Very shit design man I replaced mine today with the exact same battery he got and it does fuck all wont even work hard time putting it back together as well
There's another video on RU-vid showing how to just remove those wires and bridge and replace the batteries with rechargeable AA's. All you need is a cheap soldering iron and decent AA's. No reason to buy a $15+ - $20+ 'pack' I'll link it actually ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-z38BwvIkHSw.html
It is better to replace the battery pack with AA LSD batteries. Although it is a little bit more complicated and requires soldering. There is a video about it on youtube called "How to replace the original battery to AA batteries in the Nvidia Shield controller step by step. "
Just replaced the battery but still when i unplug the charger the controller doesnt work. The shield displays the controller is charging and the battery is full. Any idea what the problem could be?
@@IntriguingTech I did.. Im pretty sure it doesnt have power once connected to the new battery. Maybe the old battery wasn't degradee/broken and the problem is something else?
