Help please! The netsh winsock reset catalog - netsh int ipv4 reset reset.log option worked momentarily for me. Meaning right after the 2 restart I tested the websites and they were all working normally. I kept doing my thing, now I'm back to the laptop and those sites can't be accessed anymore, it says the same thing! This site can't be reached. What could it mean? Please help, is there a way to make it permanent, why would that fix work so well and after some hrs it's broken again?

Hi. All was good after typing the first command (netsh winsock reset catalog). But after typing the second command (netsh int ipv4 reset reset.log) , it says Reseting Interface, OK! Restart the computer to complete this action. C:\Windows\system32>......... When I restart the PC it's the same scenario again. I follow and enter the command and I'm stuck after entering the second command. What seems to be the mistake that I made ? When do I need to restart the PC ? Can someone please help me ? It will be highly appreciated. Thanks !

Changing the ipv4 worked for me. I think it was his third step. I had to restart the computer afterwards for you to actually work.

ping command works fine on the terminal scan anti-virus on-going Network troubleshooter found nothing. Closed most application in case the problem was caused by one them. Disable and enable network cards in device manager. DNS is automatically from the provider. Try the solution from this video but did not work. only youtube working now, google facebook off and interesting RU-vid only works with chrome and not another browser. The problem is often solved by rebooting but it is quite annoying as it is recurrent. The solution found for me was to kill the DNS service (down to the process tree in the process manager) and restart it from the services manager. This solution does not require a reboot. Thank you for the video Update. The problem reappeared this morning, this time restart the Dnscache network service in the task manager. Again it's working again. I don't understand the recurrent nature of this problem.

I am sure the problem is not in my PC. It seems that there are certain sites that I cant browse such as stackoverflow. I tried it in my other pc as well as in mobile and its the same. I tried connecting to my 2nd internet router and it work. So something to do with my ISP or router is the problem. Anyone got some same issue?
