Hello there. This is my old video tutorial for fixing a Toshiba laptop when the screen won't turn on. It may also work for the other model, just try it, and thank me later. Hope it helps. Good luck!

Worked for me to take the battery out and leave it out. Working great with power cord. Great alternative until I get another battery.

Cheers bro I have that exact model Toshiba L515 and it suddenly blackscreens!! Note backlight LCD was working but still screen was dark. I even performed reset a few times but nothing changed!!! Then FN + f5 + power did the trick!!
