Thank you. The 4th method worked for me! You were the only person that showed me the 4th method to deal with my usb port problem! I even know why I had that problem in the first place. It was because I removed an ssd from my laptop without unpluggig the battery. I haven't realized by covinenece my usb port weren't working after forgetting to unplug my battery when removing my ssd. And to everyone, Don't forget to unplug your battery before doing any hardware changes.
That first fix worked wonders! It just so happened to be my mouse USB port surged on me, so I couldn’t do anything else, but thankfully that first fix did the trick. You’re a fucking lifesaver man!!
In the 4th method, instead of removing the battery, while using it directly unplugged, it will run out of battery and turn off, but it will probably be fixed when you turn it back on. I've been trying to do it for a week, I tried everything and this method worked. I am very grateful, it was a very useful video for me, thank you.

What worked for me was your last technique!! unplugged the battery, hold the power few second to drain the computer; then magic happened!! I am unbelievably thankful that you made this video and in my last attemp i got to find it!
If you're like me & tried everything to have it not work it's most likely a BIOS update that you need. When I bought my laptop I turned off automatic updates because I like to see what's getting updated beforehand. As a result I didn't receive a notification when a new BIOS update became available. Either use your pre-installed program to scan for updates // lookup your model online & see if there's a BIOS update available & make sure it's for your model // Windows version. (Hold Windows key & press "R" to open the Run app & type "Winver" -> Hit enter and it will display your current Windows version). For me I didn't have to look online just used the Lenovo Vantage App, under Device scrolled down to System Update & it found the BIOS update almost immediately. Hope this helps because it was driving me crazy for about a week.
Yes,nothing worked for me . But there is bios update,but can not install ,battery was dead years ago,just using it with AC power adapter. New bios update ask for battery to install.
@@2DAnimax Wow that's interesting, I didn't know laptops required battery present if it's plugged into AC. Wonder if there's a way to disable that, desktops clearly don't need a battery present lol
@@-ibnarabi420 For some reason mine started working again... No idea why or what made the difference. I did buy some high pressure dust cleaner and went over it but that seemed trivial. Mostly was doing because I don't like dust lol.. I went ahead and purchased a 3-year extended care plan from Lenovo just in case. Should guarantee a fast repair from local outlet so I don't have to ship it in or anything. But yeah I wish I could be of more help I basically just gave up, then months later plugged something in & now both USB C ports on the left side work...

thankyou my guy, your last step help me fix it. currently using w11, i plug power charger then remove it with all the usb port not connected to anything then press the power button for abt 35sec (i dont remove the battery as it is planted) then turn it on again and it worked!

The last tip worked although I didn't remove the battery and install it. I did a pin hole reset on the back of the laptop and it freaking worked! I am such a genius... i was all online on lenovo forums and windows forums but that simple action helped;
thank you only the second solution worked for me and I didn't have to go to a computer shop and even buy a new mouse. My laptop's mouse port no longer worked consistently, but I solved the problem because I adjust power management. My laptop is a hp.
let me give you a tip that if it stopped working you will just have to press the usb then if it works ok then if it didnt work try the methods given in the video
Hey guys if you face any problem on usb not connect so what you do first go device manager and do enable driver i will give you a another driver and now enable driver agin and your keyboard work
No luck. My usb ports are just not recognised outside of Windows 10. It's not a loose connection as the ports connect directly to the board and there are 2 either side of the case.
I fixed mine Lmao Just press the power button like 30 secs and it will reset all power shits Cuz the reason the laptop aint reading ur usb ports is Its using (its own power
If this video didn't work for you like it didn't work for me its a probably a case of a cable not connected properly, Dirty USB Port, Broken USB Port, ETC.
Mine still not working and checked on other laptop, the USB port works also, the mouse works on the laptop but my laptop just doesn't recognize my phone you know how you can choose (charging, transfer files media) well that doesn't happen and also whenever i connect anything to the port it doesn't even say its connected nor does it make the sound.
@@rasengan9743 yes It's the cable, the cable was an charging only cable, i have 5 usb cables and two were only charging ones and than i tried the others and it worked also before anything i tried to put an usb stick and it worked so i knew it wasn't to the laptop, try every cable you have and it will probably work.

After uninstalled usb port 3.0 my keyboard/usb mouse & cursor not fuction anymore I try so many method to fix itz but none of it works Now i'm stuck at login page & waiting for miracle
Agar kabhi apne apna laptop local servicing ya repair ke liye diya tha, aur uske baad se ya pahle se hi usb port ki pareshani samne ayi hai toh khud laptop ke motherboard ki" notch wali wiring jo ek usb port ke liye di jati hai use chek kare. Mere case mein mere laptop ka kam thik se meine hi ghar par kiya, shayad aap ke laptop ki bhi yahi mamuli si pareshani ho....
