Hi Linda, if another auto-installer has been used on the account to install scripts, there will be an option to synchronize Softaculous with those scripts. If not, there will be a message stating that Softaculous was not able to detect another auto-installer on the account. Hey Dennis, try this out, in the File Manager on the top right click on Settings and make sure you have "Show Hidden Files (dotfiles)" turned on. Then check again and make sure the destination of installation is actually empty with no hidden files. If you find this it's totally empty of all hidden files too, then reach out to our support and they'll be happy to assist. 1866.964.2867 or helpchat.hostgator.com

You'd have to be REALLY careful with this if they're mixed together Jordie, usually we would recommend making a copy or backup of the folder you're working in before deleting anything. Then we'd advise just combing through each file for identifying information about each site so you can narrow down what to delete. It's gonna be a pain in leg, but just be careful and you should be able to get it done. Just in case we recommend double checking you do not have it installed in another area such as quickinstall, and softaculous. If you migrated any files over it may have traces of the data. Hi Ratheesh, check the domain's (DNS) nameserver settings. A domain that is newly registered or nameservers recently registered, theres propagation. Last anywhere between 24-48 hrs. Newly registered domains all have a validation email you must complete as well, if not the domain will temporarily suspend until completed. Hi Raj, if WordPress installation failed, check inside your installation via Softaculous. Click on Installations at the top to see scripts installed. If an installation exists, check to see if it works and see if you are able to login to the WordPress Dashboard (WPAdmin). If it doesn’t, delete the WP install and re-install and it will provide you new WordPress credentials. Live Support is available if you need more help chat/telephone/Skype for free.
