Unfortunately those Star Spawn miniatures will go right back to that crushed pose, the plastic is a cheap grade and the memory seems to revert to crushed. I ended up putting supports under the wings.

Interesting! I didn't know that. I checked the Star Spawn, and you are right. But, the investigators seem to have a different plastic because the figure in the thumbnail, for example, is still very straight.

Any suggestions on what to do for minis where the plastic is so soft the figure doesn't want to keep its shape?

Unfortunately not. I have to experiment more to figure out a useful method. Seems a bit tricky 🤔
