Hello RU-vid! In this video, we will show you how to fix the problem that you have no sound or no audio coming out of your zoom meetings app. This problem can be caused because of some settings in the zoom or because of the windows audio and sound settings and in this video, we will deal with both of them. This should work on all windows: XP, Vista, 7, 8, 8.1, and obviously Windows 10. These are the quickest and simplest ways to solve this problem.
If the solutions don't work, then it may be because of faulty hardware. We hope that this video helps you out.

Thanks - this helped me get my pixel buds pro working with zoom on W10 . I had to alter the device selected in the Sound Control Panel from the "Headphones" device to the "Headset" device et voila! - sound worked on Zoom. Oddly no problems with the mic, just sound. Good., clear video.

The speaker on my laptop is working perfectly fine But when it comes to zoom, I’m not able to hear anything from laptop speakers or any other connected devices. And those steps you shown in video, I performed all but it’s not working Help me with that, i real need to fix this

This did not solve my problem. My settings screen for Zoom isn't organized like the one you show. Nor is my properties for my headphones. Nor did troubleshooting work. Nor did uninstalling, reinstalling, and updating. Nor does search computer for drivers. I just got "you're already up to date" for both. I am about to try manual update for my headphones (built in speakers on the computer aren't connected so I can only hear via headphones). Edit, can't find drivers for the keija electronics headphones I use... went to their site and they don't seem to have a drivers download section

I had the same problem like you, I tried everything and in the end I saw that I was downloading 32-bit version instead of 64-bit... And it solved my problem, audio is working. Maybe you're making the same mistake?

Hi,I'm having trouble getting my crowd sounds on the recording in my church.I have people at the church logged in while I'm live streaming and can hear the sounds in the sanctuary fine but when I play back the recording nothing.

When I use zoom on my tablet with my headphones I can hear the other person but they can't hear me. Even with all the permissions turned on for the app still not working. Even When I Unmute and turn on audio on the zoom app they still can't hear me. My tablet is new I just bought it so Idk what the issue is. Idk if it's my tablet or zoom

Delete Zoom; reinstall the 64-bit version instead. Solved the problem for me.

Im unable to use my speaker and microphone in zoom suddenly after the update. I have tried all the methods that you showed in the video, nothing helped so far. I have even uninstall it and downloaded the 64 bit version, but still its not working. What else can i do?

Hey, i just want to help because i got the same issue for the past 12 hours. I tried all the methods too from various videos and websites (which i listed down bellow) but nothing worked. I almost gave up while reading the comment that state it already happen for years in their case. Despite all the hurdles, i tried to navigate through one more time. Then i found this video ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-oQ1uiTRB7-4.html. It took for about 2-3 hours to download the new Realtek driver but i didn't have any other choise. I followed every step and instructure in that link and well, it works for me. Apperently, updating our windows to w11 affected our sound system. But it looks like zoom app doesn't respond to this new sound system and it happend to another case with other apps. In conclusion, the new sounds system cause some troubles because it is different and for some cases, it is not compatible with windows 11 and affected lots of stuff/app depend on the case. So, by downloading the older sound system (Realtek HD Audio) in that link, solve various audio problem in windows 11. I suggest you guys to try this if you have the same situation as me. Note : I am using Asus laptop with the latest windows 11 installed. My problem descrption : - People can hear my voice loud and clear, but i can not hear any voices. So, my microphone (input system) worked just fine but there is something wrong with my speaker (output system). - Only happend in the zoom meeting app. I tested my speaker on any other apps, websites but i can hear all the voices clearly. - I got no notice or warning like "Failed to detect your speaker. Please ......" All the methods i've tried : 1. Making sure that i've joined the audio (+ activated "auto-connect to audio") and also increasing the volume both in my device volume mixer and the zoom setting itself. In addition, I also closed any other program which used my sound system. 2. Making sure in every possible way (including testing it with various speaker and headphone or other similiar output sound system) I've selected the correct speaker and the zoom app can access it. Also, making sure that i had good connection. Note : it proved that my device speaker, hardware, and headphones were perfectly fine. So, they are not the reason. 3. Restarting my device (both in force reboot and general way) and reinstalling my zoom app with the 64 bit version (the newest ver.) many times then followed by restarting my device again. Note : it proved that bug apps and troubled OS is not the reason. 4. I've tried all the methods in the video and any other similiar video. However, by : - reinstalling the sound system through both device manager and speakers properties. - updating the sound system through both device manager and speakers properties with every possible way including the automatic and manual update as shown in the video. - troubleshoot my output device My problem is still there. All these steps is not working. 5. I also experimented a few things :) but still no result.

I am having audio problems with Zoom. I am using a headset and a USB port with my desktop PC. I joined a Zoom meeting and although the others could hear me, I could not hear them. So I tested my speaker and it was OK. I tested my mic and it was OK. But then, instead of getting a message that everything looks good, I got a message saying “Your device is not working properly”. How is this possible? Doesn’t make sense. I turned off my computer for the night. Next day, we again tried to set up the Zoom meeting. I tested my speaker and it was OK. I tested my mic and it was OK. But again, I got a message saying “Your device is not working properly”. But weirdly, this time we were both able to hear each other!! I am totally confused. Does anyone have an explanation?

Uninstall Zoom; reinstall the 64-bit version. It should work then.

@@andrewbode347 The same for me too, my mic works on zoom but my speaker is not detected. I'm guessing it's either zoom's new update or window's new update or maybe both. Edit: Reading throught twitter i learnt that the issue is due to window's update and the way to fix it is uninstalling zoom and installing the 64 bits zoom version.
