Love your work brother but I have 2 HP Compaq dc7900 that I am trying to figure out how to fix them. One of them beeps 4 times when I turn on and the other five times. I tried removing all the parts but still the same beep errors. Yes they were dusty when I got them but I thot cleaning the parts one by one would fix the issue. Can you help me see what the hell is wrong with these Machines plz, PS: I bought them for 250USD each thinking they would wok for my children came use for there school assignment. The America Pease corp volunteer guy I bought them from left the Island and gone back to America. So I cant reimburse my money and kick his ass then take him to court. Is there another way to fix these PCs?

@Technical Adam Hi I bought an HP DC 7900 Small From Factor at a flea shop for $10. PC WILL NOT START. Gives 4 beeps and 4 red flashes. Sometimes 3 beeps and 3 red flashes. The green led light does turn on the motherboard. The power supply outside the pc works fine. Processor positive wire has 12v. Is the motherboard shorted? If you can help me I thank you. Thank you

Sir , follow these steps : 1- check motherboard capacitors, You can certainly check if the surface mount cap is good or bad. 2- check motherboard Ram & Ram slots 3- Change processor 4- change power supply (power supply low voltage problem) 5- motherboard clock iC Problem ( Clean clock iC with motherboard cleaner ) Thanks

hp elite 8000 esta bien rara, si la dejo conectada a la red electrica la enciendo y no arranca me arroja 4 pitidos y no arranca!. pero si la desconecto de la red electrica al menos media hora enciende normal. alguna solución ya busque en Google y nada parecido a mi caso Saludos.

I think mine was beeping 4x at first, I checked the c-mos battery and it barely lit an led, was too low. After changing it I had the 5x beeps so I cleaned the RAM and Processor, wiped off the old thermal paste and put new paste on, cleaned the fan while I had it opened ..

im doing the eraser thing and it works, but almost everyday it does this red light beeping and im already tired with removing ram cleaning with eraser and putting it back. what could be the cause?

If yours is an HP or Compaq, you should know that 4 beeps accompanied with red or orange blinking led means your power supply is the problem (it depends on the series and year of manufacturing) I fixed it this way : I removed the ram and started the pc without it kept it running with the beeping for a while then turned the pc off ,pressed the power button multiple times to eliminate any statistic electricity then switched the ram to the second slot, somehow the error stopped hopefully it won't come back! @@blackwidow82 thanks for the info sir, im not an expert unfortunately with those codes listed in the link, may i know which one is for the red blink with 2 long beeps? Even though no rams are installed it still beeps the same and red blink. Thanks!

man I have hp Compaq 8000 elite start beeping before I press the power button, ten times, 2 beeps every second, followed by a three-second pause (Beeps stop after fifth iteration but LEDs continue flashing.)

@@kennyackerman9193 I found this : Cause bad option card solution 1/ check each option card by removing the cards one at a time (if multi-able cards) then power on the system to see if fault goes away. 2/ once a bad card is identified, remove and replace the bad option card. 3/ replace the system board.
