Years and years ago I worked for Hobby Lobby and one of the jobs I would end up doing every year was fluffing all of the Christmas trees. Everyone in the store had to know how to make a bow on demand. Fluffing the tree is worth the effort. Trust me! Great video very educational.

My first year of fake trees..i always buy real..but no more..i put it all together 1st..and then i was like why did i did that!!. Lol! It's a 8ft tree..and I'm 5'3..🤷🤦learning now..i actually took the top off bcuz i wasn't ready to fluff that now...im just so excited to have these tree (s) every year..and not have to spend money buying them!!!!

Your tree looks amazing and I agree - fluffing is vital! I thought this was a how-to, though. We watched you do the thing and say how much of a difference it makes but not how you do it. I’m not trying to be mean or negative in any way, it’s evident you’re great at it - can you maybe make a 2022 video showing us how you do it? It might be an obvious task to most but no matter how I try, my branches look like starfish 😂 not at all realistic. Then I try to fix it and get it looking more realistic, but way less full. I’d love a video on how to accomplish both ☺️ thanks for the motivation! Fluffing my mini trees tonight 🎄

Quality of the tree will factor into the final result but “starfish” is kinda the goal here. Don’t dwell too much on fullness. This is a full and pricey tree. Do your best with what you have and then decorate your tree with a happy heart, I promise you’ll see that fluffing paid off- even if it’s not as full as the tree in this video💞

Omg if you could see this Xmas tree I’ve just brought second hand I’m not impressed, even tho the pictures of the tree decorated are impressive but that must be because of the previous owner using lots of decorations to in fill. To start with it really needs extra layers of branches in between the branches that are already on this Xmas tree I can’t fluff my branches no more than I have and it still looks bare. I can see around 3 inches of tree truck through each layer that’s how much gap I’ve got 🙈

This may be a silly question but can I fluff the branches on a real tree ?

No...they will most likely break if you tug on then like any other tree branch. However, you should let your real tree sit overnight untouched and untied after you buy it and get it home so it will naturally fall in place. (Plus why would you want to fluff a natural tree? Buy something that looks good and just the way you want it to look off the lot. That's one of the perks of buying a natural tree!)

If it were up to just me I’d just get a fake tree but I’m trying to compromise and get a real one this year but I also don’t want my tree to have a lot of holes and here in nyc sometimes you can’t tell the real shape of the tree until you bring it home and let it sit

I actually decorate fresh trees asap and then my design helps the tree settle in the shape I want it to fall in. Does that make sense?

I dont , i mean my husband doesnt take our trees apart after xmas, we just roll them to the garage… sometimes with the ornaments and wrap plastic or garabage bags around them. I just finished taking our last years tree apart today lol … so fluffing every year isnt that difficult… they r all fluffed kindda and made muahahahaha. .., hi jeanna

Yes!!! The box is best for space when storing. Bags are super awkward and take more space.

Hayden Pine - Lowers has had them for a few years. This is a great tree for a packed but still branchy look. Not a good tree for ornaments that drip but perfect for dancers :)
