@@PlainPortuguese oooh, so pro/pra agrees with its object?
@PlainPortuguese
@PlainPortuguese 2 года назад
@@rumpeldumpel675 Actually, 'pro' is the contraction of 'para o', and 'pra' is the contraction of 'para a'. A sidenote, both are used in spoken language and very informal writing.

Oi Bea😊Como formar as outras posibilidades com o verbo dar? Dêm e dêmos? Obrigado😃
@PlainPortuguese
@PlainPortuguese 3 года назад
Oi vectraxxxx! O verbo 'dar' tem algumas particularidades quando conjugado. Esta é a conjugação no imperativo: Dê (você) Demos (nós) Deem (vocês)

Why is it just ‘Rex’ in Dê comida pro Rex and ‘O Rex’ in Leve O Rex pra passear?
@PlainPortuguese
@PlainPortuguese Год назад
In fact 'pro' is the contraction of 'para + o'. Pro Rex = Para o Rex. When it comes to using definite articles before names, I suggest you watch the following lessons. 1. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-XKyv2UQWRG4.html 2. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-6a437WSuQvs.html
