There's Ultimate Spider-Man for the PS2, GameCube, and Xbox. Also seems like Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction would be right up your alley based on what you want. It's also available on the same consoles, though, I recommend using an emulator due to recent price hikes on old used games.

With how limited Venom's moveset was, I really wasnt surprised that he was just a one off and has no real traversal options for free roam. But hopefully we'll get a Venom spinoff in the future because the potential is definitely there.

@@thequi-ken9608the dlc is themed around venom. So I wouldn’t be surprised if the dlc allows us to play as him. If the dlc involves carnage, it would have to include venom since he’s mostly a venom villain not Spider-Man. Hopefully venom gets his own game after

Apparently this glitch can "crash" the game or save files. personally it did nothing for me, and I did it multiple times, but always make extra save slots in case, even if you dont try glitches or bugs or even to not delete save files accidentally lol

They really should just add an actual Venom open world mode to the game. Let us explore the whole map as him, let us destroy things and hurt citizens to get the police and soldiers after you like a crime meter, just let us have that fun as a side mode!

PS2 Spider-Man ultimate venom was the goat venom we all wanted. His ground slam move was awesome. And his distance covering lounge and grapple lack. And the feeding animation is lackluster. 💔

@@Hex-Maniac He was all black in that, and then later got the spider symbol. They did things in a different order in this game. Venom starts off as agent Venom and he doesn't get the white patches on his hands till later.

It does. But I assume perhaps it's because of Knulls control where Venom is more represented. But I assume when Venom returns in the 3rd game he will start swinging because he becomes his own individual symbiote

I don't think the symbiote can learn new ablities. He was only able to swing and crawl walls beacuse his host already had those abilities

That’s probably because he’s a bigger part of the game and in this we only get to play him for one mission so I feel like they just went with the most basic animations and if they do go for a dlc or spin off they refine everything more

Im streaming Prototype 2 and its amazing the amount of destruction you could do back in 2012. Insomniac doesn't have the balls to create destructive environments for us to play Venom properly in. They cater Spider-man to boomers and little kids. No one with the right mind can enjoy that PG shit forever.

The fact that you have to go through this, just to free roam as a character they went out of their way to make playable in a short section, is exactly why this game has so many problems. How can you make venom playable for this section, but not after the game ends or in some game mode? How do you work on new animations that will never be used again, unless you play this section? It makes no sense. Let us play as venom! It should've been a game mode or free-roam option.
