I grow cherry tomatoes. When I'm overloaded with them I freeze them whole, unpeeled and raw. I simply rinse them well and allow them to air-dry. Then I put them on a cookie sheet in the freezer until they are froze solid, usually overnight. After they are frozen solid I transfer them to freezer bags with all the air sucked out. That way you can pull out as little or as many individually frozen tomatoes as you need. They're perfect for adding to soups, stews, chili, oven roasted etc. And they taste so fresh. Call me crazy but I like the nutritional boost of the skins and the juicy tanginess of the seeds.

After cutting the kernels off, sure to finish gathering all the goodness remaining on the cob. Use the back side of the knife and with a little pressure, scrape down the cob. The points and pulp of the corn will come out.

Take look at holts corn creamer you don’t have to remove shucks pull shucks back insert into the silver cut the corn of the cob in seconds

This is a crock. I am a master gardener (and grain farmer) here in Alberta. I grow 400 pounds of corn each year and put it in big freezer bags leaving the husk on and throw it in the freezer just like that. Even a year later it tastes as good as the day I picked and not mushy either. The Martha Stewart method is an inconvenience and a waste of time. Once again the biggest thing is to leave the husk on.

mine too - i don't know how i lived without the corn cutting bowl - i bought 2 just in case one broke while cutting the corn off the cob to freeze - before (omg what a nightmare) i would get the corn all over the floor and on the walls and in my hair, but now... oh wait, i've never actually cut corn off the cob...

Agreed with Lanny Rafa. Don't mess with the corn before freezing it. Freeze it whole, uncooked and in the husk. Also cook it whole and in the husk. It will taste the same as the day it was picked. And the silks just slide off when you peel it after cooking. No mess, great flavor, great texture :-)

The paste get stuck on the skin, you can use a food meal.
