I recently created a website for PSP parts, systems, and custom builds. I'll be adding many more listings as I take pics and finish up systems. EverythingPSP.com This is the process that I use to test all of the PSP Go's that I buy.
Do you know if the psp go can turn on with no battery and just plugged into the wall? I got my first psp go recently and my battery was swollen and doesn’t charge/hold power. I took it out but assumed it would at least turn on when plugged into the wall (with OEM charger) and no battery inside. Mine doesn’t respond to anything. I know you can use the older psp systems with no battery and just plugged in so I assumed you could do the same with the go. I just figured you had a better insight, otherwise I have a suspicion something is wrong with my charging port on my system?
hey blake, are the rubber spacers on the umd drive screw places important for it to read the disc? im not sure why my psp doesnt read discs. ive attempted a shell replacement and when i reassembled i forgot to put a spacer back in. thanks
The rubbers shouldn’t be necessary for reading games, but you’ll want to check to make sure you’re at least getting some sounds coming from the umd drive when the door is shut with a game inside
@@blakeblundell9001 yea it is making sounds and the drive spins, it doesnt load the game and rarely i get a error message that says the disc cant be read
