You explain jiujitsu so clearly and demonstrate it in a way that is so easy to understand. I've never trained in it, and I never understand what's going on in a match, but your videos have really opened up my eyes to the sport

Matt had been out of active fighting for a couple year ls then, but people in my gym talked about him because he’s a great bjj guy, and from all accounts, a great guy in general. I was doing this to a higher belt today and I almost, ALMOST had it, but the issue I found in a rolling situation with throwing your whole body into it is it will cause them to slide up the mat more often than break their frame. So I adjusted and locked my legs tight around his to try and pry better, and that almost did it. In the end I managed to get my head slightly underneath but he caught me off guard with a mount escape 🤷♂️
This still won't work on someone strong regardless of their size. You have to "catch" them when they aren't expecting it or guarding against a different attack
The only problem is you’ve got really strong guys that are normal strong guys and then you got guys that are like in the top one percent I have a guy that 6 foot eight and I can’t put him in anything and none of the other black belts can put him in anything, except for we can choke him, and we could maybe get him in a few things when he was reaching a little bit too much And if you were fighting him, you’d break his legs or whatever but if he grabbed a hold you, you’d be in the air flying through the air and you would die. It’s interesting because when I first started Jujitsu a long time ago with Pedro Sauer he told me that he doesn’t teach big gigantic people because it’s like teaching snakes to fly my feeling though is maybe I can’t do that but I guarantee if I teach a 6 foot eight guy how do use like different things that are in Jujitsu. He will be not only crazy good but he’ll probably be able to beat most anybodyaround
This only works with the guys cooperation. He could be punching biting elbowing spitting and all kinds of squirming. People think that this will always work in a street fight. News flash! IT WON'T. Unless you are trained to thee UTMOST just WALK OR RUN AWAY. You don't have to fight anyone unless cornered or absolutely necessary.
Now what’s stopping that from happening… well think about it if you fight someone and they do something dirty like that you are first of all in a better position to bite their ear right back assuming they miss your ear and you see it coming😂 but this is all hypothetical, but most people won’t do what they don’t want done to them.
If this isn’t a competition, the guy on top can just posture and start reigning punches until he’s KOd. But this is Jiu Jitsu so no biting or ground and pound

it's for a demonstration for people that practice/train BJJ. not a "real fight". In a real fight, bottom man is already wearing elbows to the jaw. What is it like having 17 IQ?
